Idk exactly how to explain this but the softness of real wool and real linen is very different from the artificial softness of polyester “sherpa”, fuzzy faux-fur, spongey acrylic knits and people have gotten too used to the soft plastics and now associate wool with “itchy” and linen with rough and cotton with “too heavy” and then go and wear 100% polyester fleecy sweatshirts and say it’s so warm and cozy but actually they’re just staticky cooking in their sweat locked inside a plastic membrane and you are paying too much to be wearing filaments of petroleum products and the money isn’t going to the people sewing them either. I’m saying you all need to touch grass and the grass in this situation is good quality textiles made of natural fibres.

We as a society need an autism health and fitness guide. I have really strong ARFID and disabilities that are more common when you are also autistic. Having better advice and tips that aren't just "meal prep the fuck outta your life" or "starve" would be nice.

hiking trails on the west coast: Begin climbing on a soft earthen trail through beautiful douglas fir-western hemlock forest for 2.5 miles along a series of switchbacks, then break from the tree cover for 1 mile of straight even trail through a stunning wildflower meadow just below the ridgeline, after which the trail makes a sharp right and continues to the summit with a further 2 miles of switchbacks. Enjoy beautiful views of the nearest dormant stratovolcano and also at least two waterfalls and a crystal-clear alpine lake along the way. Round trip: 11 miles, 3,000ft elevation gain. Difficulty: moderate :)

i know going through your significant others phone is bad practice, but i needed to trxt my managers and my phone is out of service. he was insistent that i was allowed to go through it whenever, as he had nothing to hide.

i found a text conversion between him and another customer at his job (thats how we met) dated a Month ago.

we had been broken up at the time (he breaks up with me like once a month) but the date on the texts between them was the Same Day that he texted me begging to just be able to talk to me

i know this relationship isnt going anywhere and clearly isnt healthy, but i had never questioned his loyalty until now and he's not even awake rn and

idk what to do

she texted him again a few days later and he just gave the 'idk if we're allowed to date customers' answer. not mentioning that hes currently In a relationship himself

im not saying office jobs aren’t bad in some ways but its always very telling when people treat it like the WORST job at the bottom of the rung…because they have never had to face manual labor as a real option they would ever be forced to take.
