Hi! Might I suggest a song? Francesca by Hozier gives me HUGE Elriel vibes :)

I heard it’s about a couple from Dante’s inferno that were condemned for being affair partners. However, hozier doesn’t vilify them but instead makes their love seem so strong and the speaker has no regrets. It reminds me a of Elriel because, while I don’t believe they are having an affair in any way, it represents acting outside of the path that was set for you. A love so strong you damn the consequences to be together.

This song was in my list already especially for The tragic and forbidden 😏 story of Paolo and Francesca

Yes it involves adultery BUT it was inevitabile for how their story began. I will put a small summary I found because I’m still not very Good with written English 😅

Francesca was the daughter of the lord of Ravenna, a city-state at war with Rimini, a rival power in northern Italy. To secure peace, Francesca’s father entered into an alliance with Rimini’s leaders, agreeing to marry his daughter to their heir apparent, Giovanni, who has been variously described as uncouth and deformed or crippled. The Francesca’s father was perceptive enough to realise that his romantic young daughter would not welcome such a man as her husband, so the handsome Paolo was invited to stand proxy for his brother at the wedding. Unfortunately, it would appear that no one told Francesca that Paolo was only the proxy. Francesca had fallen instantly in love with the dashing Paolo and must have thought herself the luckiest girl in the world, so we can only imagine her feelings of horror when she discovered the truth. Paolo and Francesca began an affair and when Giovanni discovered them, he killed them both in a rage.

So yes it has some very Elriel vibes (minus The tragic end I Hope!) I’ll leave a little of their quote from Dante’s Inferno its too beautiful 🥹

Sorry for the long wait but I was really busy in these weeks! Today's song is one of my favorite Water Under The Bridge by Adele. This song makes me think about Elain after the solstice disaster.

This is absolutely an Azriel song, I knew it from the very first verse

New Day and new Song! Today's song is "Wild Roses" by Of Monsters and Men, an apt title in my humble opinion for our favorite seer!

This is Elain song's not only for the title xD but the lyrics for me represent the bond she has with Azriel but also with her seer powers

Wild roses on a bed of leaves in the month of May I think I wrote my own pain Oh, don't you?

Between roses and leaves Elain owns her pain and hurt without someone telling her how she should feel!

The first song I want to share is Say Something Loving by The xx

This song is so perfect for Elriel, even the parts sang by the man and the woman match. I thought of them for the very first time I listened to this beautiful song. I will put the lyrics with the colors for every verse Elain pink, Aziel blue and together purple ^^

Hi Everyone!

My name is Lella and this is my first time starting a Tumblr blog for a specific fandom, usually I'm more of a silent observer and very much shy. I decided to start this blog just for fun and to challenge myself to something that I never did so here I am!

I love the Acotar series and since i've read it Elriel stole my heart, they are perfect for each other I'll never belive otherwise!

I know the majority associate Elriel with TS songs (I like her don't get me wong) but for me there are so many other songs that are perfect for this ship and I want to share them with you all!

I am a little nervous especially because English is not my first language (I'm Italian) and i'm way better in reading it than writing!

I also want to thank every member of this fandom (especially Elriel) for your works from writers to artist and also theorist! You all are so special and gave me so much joy in a time where I was very much at my lowest and now that I'm a bit better I want to give something back even if is just songs
