Rinne Sprite

A sprite of Rinne Houraiji, one of our OC's. I actually ended up using more than 16 colours... >_< Fun (not really) thing regarding Rinne: their right forearm and right leg (as well as its fingers on the left hand (not shown)) are machine due to two separate suicide attempts. Don't worry, it's doing better now than in the past.

Just an enby known as Rinne Houraiji (蓬莱寺燐音 Hōraiji Rinne, they/it). The hardest parts were the ribbons XD

Shizuko Shuzuka (症塚紫都娘)

A new OC of Satoki's.

This is Shizuko Shuzuka (症塚 紫都娘 Shūdzuka Shizuko; plaguegender, she/plague pronouns), a young autistic plague goddess. Plague's non-verbal and usually uses her phone as a makeshift AAC device.

And before you ask: yes, the dress has pockets.

Yaki's Part-time Job at the Zoo / 動物園にいる也紀のバイト

Another night, another dotpict event. This time featuring one of our OC's!

A bake-danuki named Yaki Kishima (neutrois, ey/em/eir) working part-time at the local zoo.

Ey didn't read the fine print on the application and now is displeased at being inside the enclosure, giving zoology lessons to attendees.

(And only now do I realise that I forgot about eir back hair >_<)

Yaki was looking for a means to pay off the fines from eir criminal past (eir father, Yuro, was part of the local yakuza; Yaki only avoided jail time due to eir age (17), and as such was instead sentenced to community service), ey accepted a part-time job at the local zoo in eir hometown (Ushie). Thinking that the job would simply be giving talks whilst occasionally doing janitorial work, Yaki showed up for eir first day on the job.

Welp, couldn't hurt. And besides, at least I'm studying zoology for my pre-graduation course, so it ain't all bad.

If only Yaki had read the fine print on the application......

ライラック・ブラザーウィック

A new OC of ours!

Introducing Lilac Blatherwick, a young half-human, half-nephilim (a race of people from the orbital city of Shimshi, which orbits the planet Abnum η). First OC that we've made that is a flavour of xenogender.

Also experimented with a darker skin tone.

Example usage of the pronoun 'com': Com is talking with cometself about comets day. But who is answering comet, though? Are these answers even comets?

Some lore dump about Lingxin, now that I've done faer ref sheet:

Lingxin's birth family hails from Kansekiri's northern continent, and as such, her fur is actually very thick. And regarding their birth family....

Their birth family is a bunch of pieces of shit. Part of why Lingxin s3lf harms is partially because faer birth family is hella transphobic (illegal (and rightfully so) under Ushie law), and partially because of being abused in... horrific ways.

Fae's nowadays better about the s3lf harm, but sometimes relapses...

And besides, Lingxin has two wonderful friends who look out for fae.

[Satoki] Some pixel art that we did last night.

Participated in yet another event for dotpict, theme being "rainy day". Just a kid named Shino Sakurasame (櫻雨 思乃 Sakurasame Shino) standing out in the rain. The phrase "あめ、だいすき" (Ame, daisuki, "I love the rain!") is crudely written on the wall.

This one is Zhang Lingxin (張靈尋 Zhāng Língxín; she/they/fae pronouns).

This one was also originally meant to be the main protag of one of my (currently) shelved projects.
