I've seen my cykesquill posts gaining some attention again so I guess antis were at it again... and I was right. They still didn't realize that they are the ones everyone avoid in the fandom? (-ι_- )

Ever since I started shipping these 2, it was a pretty lonesome journey, so I decided to create a server for shippers like me who want accompanies! We can have fun together!!!!

Thanks for the good post op! ❤ there is actually no issues with that ship. It just about being comfortable with age gaps or not. There are a lot of couples with age gaps not only in the ace attorney serie itself but even... in the world around us.

Haters harass shippers mainly because it gets in the way of their ship (like Aurametis or Phantomquill that I find both a wayyyyy more problematic than Cykesquill itself but that's another debate lol).

The main argument that I see coming back often is the famous "they met when she was a kid"

Er... Sure they did. But absolutely NO ONE said that they fell in love at the first sight? Just because THEY have gross thoughts like this doesn't mean SHIPPERS do?? For god's sake!

Also how much do you HATE Simon to say that he would wait for Athena to grow up before to "prey" on her ?? (it makes me wanna puke just by typing this ugh) You need to be a dangerous creep to think like that.

Seriously did you even play the game? Are we talking about the same guy? The one pushing her away to save her life?? He is basically giving away his freedom and life to save someone else by duty (would you even have the guts to do the same) but suuuuuure. Simon is the one being the creep lol.

Please antis, use your two last braincells. You are the only one having gross and disgusting thoughts on fictional characters, don't put that on the shippers. Also since you love the ace attorney series, please listen to Edgeworth and give actual proofs that Simon could be the creep you want him to be. That's how things work if you want to judge someone.

I have another question. Do they even know how falling in love works? Do they know that... it takes time sometimes? Like a lot?

HELL the concept of falling in love is basically about CHANGING the way you see someone/perceive things.

This is... actually scary that we need to explain something that obvious on this website. I don't see enough people giving proper arguments on this subject (or even trying to defend the ship which is understandable when antis go for witch hunt and suddenly can't read when you try to talk to them lol) but really guys, have no worries.

There is no issues. Antis, just say that age gaps aren't your cup of tea and move on. The only issue is people who harass other for not having the same opinion. It's called egoism and I'm not sure how you can be friends with people like that.

I really don't understand the issue with Cykesquill. The age gap is large, yes, but they're consenting adults... I know people in real life who have been together for many years with large age gaps.

I get if someone is uncomfortable with it, cool, this isn't about you. This is about the people basically threatening those who ship it... The fuck is actually wrong with you?
