On one of her first trips by during a run, a flash of foil caught her attention.  She turned to see multiple pink balloons exclaiming, “It’s a girl!” tied to a wheelchair that held a new mother, holding a tiny bundle of blankets. Dear Tasha, just wanted to say that I greatly admire you for fighting alongside a bunch of people with actual 'super powers' with the sheer awesomeness of your martial art skills and interrogation techniques. By the way, is it true you were trained as a spy while you were a child..? And how was that experience?

You know, I don't see it as such a huge feat to work alongside all these people. An honor, yes, but I don't believe it's anything admirable. If anything super powers hinder a person. They come to rely on the powers so much, and it's not unheard of for them to go away. All I have to rely on is myself, and I know I can always trust my skills.

I was... it was all I knew. Any part of my life that was defined by a real childhood died in the fire. There's no way for me to truly define it, because it was just my life. I focused on my Red Room training when other children were focusing on homework. I didn't question it.

Any advice you can give a girl in college?

Stay true to yourself. There are a lot of influences that will attempt to sway you. I don't know from experience but from what I understand, college is when a person truly comes to learn their true self. Be independent and find that person. Also, as with any venture, set goals for yourself and see them through. I don't mean to sound overly motivational, but that really is the best advice I can give.

I'd like to make one last recruitment push for the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest group before I leave for the night and stop spamming everyone's dashes with posts about it. Roles for the group will be announced tomorrow so I just want to advertise one last time in case anyone is interested and want to get their applications in before then. 

Honestly the way I see it, if you're nervous about applying, you're better off submitting an application than not submitting at all. I promise you we're a group of super friendly people. The admins are me, ask-iron-man, and ask-the-mighty-thor. If you've got any questions or anything at all, don't be afraid to shoot us a message either here (for me personally) or over at the group (where you'll have either me or ask-iron-man checking and responding). 

We're just looking to create a group where a lot of people can get together, interact with people they might not ever have otherwise, and frankly, just have fun. So please come check us out. We're pretty non-restrictive as to which Avengers characters we're accepting so feel free to ask about anyone, comic book centered or not!

Are you a natural redhead? If not, what was your original hair color and why did you choose red?

My hair is naturally auburn. Not quite as red as I have it now, though. It's been any number of colors, considering the red is fairly recognizable and through my espionage work I have to slip into different roles at times, but I always fall back to the red. It's how I feel most comfortable, I guess.
