I'm sure the girls faces do light up when she walks in the room, but she probably doesn't see it, where as she can see Hailey being extra wiggly for you. All you can really do is keep reassuring her that it's not true and keep looking after her. I am a little bit worried that she brushed off spending one on one time with them though. “The girls keep giving me all their “first” like first kicks, first giggles, etc. And Hailey gets super wiggly when she hears my voice. She doesn’t realize how much their faces light up when they see mom come into the room. I’m trying my best to tell her it’s not true and take care of her but I’m not sure what else to do. I tried encouraging her to spend more one on one time with them without me but she just kinda brushed it off.” -L

*keeps watching the girls, smiling a little when they get excited over the colours on the screen* - H

*texts you back* "Not really no, he had the baby blues and was a little sad afterwards but that's normal and a lot of new parents get that for the first week. But he never seemed depressed no. Why does Hazza think the babies don't love her as much as you? That's silly, those girls adore both of you. If you think she does have some postpartum depression please keep an eye on her and be very gentle around her. We can get Niall to talk to her if needs be, I know she sometimes opens up to him a lot too." - Li

*hears you and frowns not knowing what to do, deciding to text Liam* “Mate, did Niall ever seem depressed after giving birth? Harry thinks the girls don't love her as much as they do me and I’m trying to tell her she’s wrong. I fear she might have some postpartum depression but I’m not sure” -L

*frowns slightly when you leave the room, just watching the girls wiggle about in the bassinets, talking to them quietly* Hi my beautiful girls, Daddy is gonna give you a bath and get you ready for bedtime soon. Mommy is sorry she's so rubbish and isn't very fun to be with. But at least you have Daddy to make you happy and giggly. I don't blame you for loving daddy more than mommy though. *rests my head on my arm just watching them* - H

*looks at your sadly not knowing what to do to help you, gets up and grabs our empty dishes, takes them to the kitchen and starts cleaning them* -L

*finishes up eating and sets my bowl down, curling up so I can quietly watch the girls in their bassinets without disturbing them* - H

She just likes it when I cuddle her, you're the fun one out of the two of us and make her giggle *sniffles and continues eating, occasionally glancing at the girls in the bassinets* they should probably have their bedtime baths in around an hour or so. I'll go nap whilst you do that. - H

Baby, I still think Bailey prefers you. Maybe you just can’t tell because she’s not as energetic as Hailey but she really does. Her eyes light up when she sees you. -L

And that's why I didn't wanna tell you about it. Because I know it makes you feel bad and you start blaming yourself. You've done nothing wrong and I don't want you to change anything. The girls love you so much because you're an amazing Daddy to them, that's all. That's not something I want to change. *sighs softly* they just prefer you and there's nothing to be done about it, so don't worry and forget I said anything. *sits up and grabs my soup, curling up against the sofa again as I eat, now feeling awful for making you feel bad* - H

Hey, hey that’s not true. They do love you. I’ll ease up a bit and start letting you do more. Maybe if they’re around you more they’ll start preferring you more. I feel bad that you feel this way. I wanna do anything I can to help. -L
