As the evening bathes the world in a softer light, a gentle melody can be heard. It's nothing like the wind that pushes past the tall rocks, creating a slight whistling noise that permeates the area. No, the sound originates from an opening within the rock faces. An area blanketed with a field of flowers.

There's a single tree in this field, it's trunk twisting and bending towards the sky. A small figure sits perched in one of the bends, the soft tune originating from them.

Well, it’s just a batch of berries I grow for myself, they’re still shrubs but should be ready for harvest by Spring. No, you can’t have any; so don’t bother asking.

OO what game are you guys playing to pass time in this storm??

And checkered patterns bother my eyes a lot-which means chess and checkers are also out-so dominoes is how I go about passing the time. I was practically raised on the game, literally could spend all day playing.

(luckystravels) Violet @ Catecato: I must say, I am curious to know how exactly humans came to be on this island in the first place. Could you tell us more about that?

The Raiex believed that the island's population originated with the great Guaban, who was the very incarnation of water itself. The Lugia was thought to have brought forth humans from the darkest depths of the ocean, having them work hard to reach the surface and rise above the waves, onto the glowing shores. The coastline of the Raiex territory glows the brightest because of this, as they say.

The Montex however, believe there was nothing but volcanic ash on the island long after it was created. It wasn't until Aguey kicked up the ash and used their Sacred Fire to create life from it. There's a cave in the south said to be the origin of the island's ash deposits, and from that cave the first Tanoan people climbed out into the new day and their new lives.

The Yuentex have a similar belief, however they believe humans were molded from the sturdy vines and roots of the forests. Digo created each human by hand, being extra careful to make them all unique from each other. The roots became bone, and from there the Celebi gave them life and the ability to grow.

As for the Veaxquex, they believed Maro swung their mighty tail into the earth, carving out space for humans to begin to grow and eventually emerge from the soil. The Landorus' role in the harvest made it so that the people would be one of the fastest to grow and adapt to their new world, after much work from the beast's part.

Despite each group holding a certain piece of their story closer than the others, all of them combine together into the truth.
