Corazon week day 1: Fury / Pity

(Day 1) Acceptance

A once lonesome Law who’s now living his long gone friend’s dream for him. A poem to express his first feelings, and how much he’s grown over the years

I have nothing in this world

I’m naive to believe that

I can go on without him

He was my strength, but

Now he’s gone.

He always promised to travel, but

I’m now living his life for him

so he can peacefully rest.

A life that was once plagued,

The torture,

was putting him out of

what should’ve been

and I always think that

Afraid.

I’m no longer

Putting my trust into others.

and Instead I’m

Counting the sleepless nights;

The amount of times I’ve already lost count

I’ve already accepted

that I’m alone.

I can’t even say

I have people by my side.

 We’re back again for another week of celebrating our favorite goofball, Donquixote “Corazon” Rocinante!

Another year has come and gone, but our affections for this man haven’t dwindled at all. Corazon Week returns this year as well to host another celebration of his life, his death, and all the joys and sorrows it brought to us, so please join us in showing our love for Cora-san once again! This year’s post comes earlier than ever to give everyone plenty of time to create your fantastic works. We’re hoping this event will be our biggest and best yet! So, with that, the prompt list:

(Day 1) July 9th: Fury / Pity (Day 2) July 10th: Savior (Day 3) July 11th: Memory  (Day 4) July 12th: Abandoned (Day 5) July 13th: Magic (Day 6) July 14th: Teenage  (Day 7) July 15th: Hope

The rules are short and simple: you may only submit your own original works, please place anything nsfw under a readmore cut and tag it as nsfw, and pick a prompt (or several!) and create something new based off of it. It can be anything; fanfic, fanart, cosplay, amv, graphic edits– so long as you’ve created it, we want it! Tag it with #corazonweek when you’re done, and we’ll reblog it here for everyone to see and love.

Even if you don’t feel up to creating anything, we deeply appreciate anyone who follows, spreads the word and shows some love for the great works we receive every year. This event wouldn’t be possible without spectators as well; it’s great just to have you along for the ride!

Hello all, Mun here...

I’ve been meaning to make this post for a long time and I’m sorry I’m never around anymore, but in the recent months I’ve been feeling like the overall interest in my blog has been dropping.... no one seems to want to interact with me as much as they used to. Which is fine! I am okay with other ask blogs not paying me any mind, and I’m so grateful to those of you who constantly ask questions and I’m so sorry I don’t answer. Sometimes I get motivated to do the blog and sometimes I don’t :( I’m rambling like a fool, but this all leads to my question: What content do you all want to see from me? Should I take time and work extra hard on one thing and answer less asks for the sake of quality? Or would you rather I keep answering as many as I can with varying amounts of good-ish quality? This may be a change that I will put into place, depending on what you all think, and depending on if I even want to run this blog anymore. It’s recently been more of a hindrance rather than a fun thing I do in my free time. (I’ll tag this all later ;;)
