Supreme and Puka music appreciation post. i remember when the ost was first released i was so excited to hear that they both got their own unique themes. it was especially exciting for me at the time since it was way before the movie came out, so getting to hear the story through the ost was very fun.

my personal favorites are probably Unknown Precure, Truth Revealed and Just two of us...

Unknown Precure is very fun bc it comes before Supreme's introduction theme. Instead we're introduced to Supreme through an awesome battle rendition of their theme which is very in character.

Truth revealed does one of my favorite things and ost can do which is take Supreme's previously neutral musical motif and twists it up to be all awful and unsettling. Its just a copy of Its name is Cure Supreme but evil. Wonderful. fits the environment perfectly. 10/10

Just two of us... is soso sweet. It confirmed for me way back before the movie was released that these two would get a happy ending together. The way it switches between each motif makes it feel like a conversation, and the ending is probably my favorite part. The slight hesitation that Supreme's theme displays makes me cry. perfect.

i also really like the sound font they used for both Supreme and Puka. It sounds like a triangle or xylophone and i like it.

both prim and puka naturally speak pretty quietly, softy aswell. it ties into their personalities, with puka being shy and prim being distant in their interactions. but its also because their hearing is more sensitive. they dont need to speak very loudly to hear each other, and that cadence often carries over into conversation with other ppl as well. if either of them ever yell, its because theyre either very far away from each other or very emotional

For Supreme! Why did you choose bunnies as your cure theme?

OH… the idea that the Precure having Those Powers Supreme used to have…. Oooohhh that’s so interesting

hehe yeah <3. the way prim worded it was confusing, since it was meant to be more of a one sided conversation with puka. but what prims implying is that between the two of them, Puka is now the only one who holds Those Powers of destruction. And since Puka is also a Precure, Prim considers them to be the strongest [power wise, that is] asset to the Precure as a whole. Prim still sorta sees Precure as more of an entity rather than a bunch of individuals. Like a power to be wielded I guess. So they really shouldn’t think of Puka like that, they [and other Precure] contribute more than just their power after all. But Prims just projecting a little, since their power and strength is what defined them back when they were Supreme Origin. So it’s still something they’re working out of I suppose. Overall it’s still a stressful responsibility for puka, which is why they refuse to talk abt it openly. They’ve probably disintegrated a lot of things around the house on accident… Whether or not they’d ever use it against a villain would depend on the circumstances
