Are you a fan of the cold weather? Snow?

I much prefer the warmer weather, but I don't hate it when it's snowing. Only when I don't have to travel too far and can stay inside near the fire, or use Anna as my personal heater.

what would your life look like if you woke up tomorrow morning and all of your dreams had come true?

I think this is cliché to think that all my dreams have already come true. I live in the most beautiful town with a job that I have worked so hard to achieve And of course I have the most amazing girlfriend anyone could ask for. I get to wake up most mornings to her arms around me. What more could I ask for? The only thing that I would change is to be able to share a last name with her.

What is the best part about your job?

The moment the parent's know that all their hard work has paid off and they get have their new bundle of joy laying against their chest. No matter how many times you witness it, it's still incredible.

Ruby had always had an interest in helping others, ever since a young age and she knew that she would end up in a career that would give her the opportunity to do so. As a teenager she was lucky enough to be present when her aunt gave birth to her baby cousin. Between the hustle and bustle of childbirth, she fell in love with the emotional support being provided by the whole team and how well everyone worked together. In that moment it was set that she was going to become a OB/GYN.

She spent the next 15 years of her life dedicated to just that. She studied hard in school to get into Yale Medical School and she graduated with honors and got accepted into their residency program in OB/GYN. Once she finished the program, top of her class of course, she decided that she needed a change in scenery and applied to a few major hospitals in different states. While attending an interview in Seattle, she stumbled up the most beautiful blonde, which definitely helped that she was in her uniform. She knew that she was going to marry that woman one day. Her friendship with Anna was instant, and thankfully she got the position as head attending OB/GYN at Hyperion Heights Hospital. Just as she was in her career is how the brunette is in all aspects of her life; relentless. She fell hard and fast for Anna and between both of their busy schedules, they get to spend a few nights a week together.

The picture that Anna panted of her home town sounded like something out of a movie, but it turns out with recent events that it was now a different kind of movie. Ruby has always been a resilient, strong woman, but there was something about this whole situation that made her feel uneasy. Maybe it was to do with the blonde curled up on the couch. The desire to keep that woman safe was overwhelming. She walked over and planted herself right next to the other woman, shuffling around until she fit next to her perfectly. She drew her eyebrows together briefly thinking about. In reality she didn’t need to think about it for that long. “I think that would be the best idea. She might do something stupid without us.” She laughed, “plus, like I already said, she is my future sister-in-law,” she smiled before finding Anna’s hand and bringing it up to her lips. “I would do anything for family.”

It had been quite some time since Anna found herself stomping around Manitou Springs, so it went without saying that she was far too excited to be back in town with her girlfriend in tow. They were going to have so much fun — taking in the area, drinking cocoa, and maybe hitting the slopes - if the time allowed for it. And then, of course, all of those plans were tossed out the window the moment real life took a turn towards a Halloween horror flick. Doing their best to survive wasn’t exactly the way she pictured them spending the past few weeks, and yet here they were, locked away in her mother’s home, avoiding going out unless absolutely necessary. “We were supposed to be doing something fun…” A low groan escaped her as she looked out the front window with complete dismay. “Now, all I can think about is how quickly we’ll be able to get home.” Moving to tuck herself in the corner of the couch, she turned her attention towards Ruby with an inquisitive look upon her face. “What are the chances you would be okay with bringing Ingrid along with? I… I know we don’t exactly have an abundance of room, but there is a guest room that she can stay in, and I’m not talking about forever here.” [ @askbigred ]

Why do you think hooded figures were scoping out the homes of Evangeline, Belle and Isabella?

I'm not too sure what these people have in common or if whoever is behind this even has a pattern behind their attacks. They are obviously looking for something, or someone for their next move.

Who are you most concerned for? Why?

The answer to this question will always be Anna, no matter what. I will do everything that I can to keep her as safe as possible. I couldn't stand to lose her.

Would you feel safe going for a walk in the woods?

No, and I don't think that anyone should even attempt it at this point.

How do you feel about the FBI being in town?

I feel like it was needed. The local police did the best job they could with what they have. But they needed some extra help with this case.

Do you believe in witchcraft?

I haven't really thought about it. I wouldn't say that I believe in it, but I also am not going to rule it out either. I did love watching movies and shows about witches growing up, so it would be cool if they existed.

do you think the kindergarten teacher left on her own?

I don't really know who the teacher was or anything about her really. But hopefully that was the case and nothing serious happened to her. It is a bit suspicious though.

I mean, it’s true and I love reminding you of it. But please come try and smoosh my face. That way I can steal a cuddle from you at the same time.

What do you think of the small town?

It is really nice. I wasn't sure what to expect when I heard we were coming here. But there's something for everyone it seems.

Your family is my family already, no matter what our last name is. Even though I would love to be a Hansen one day.
