Mercy: We have! Its like on most things we can read each other's minds.

Mercy: Oh yes! I get to take my little angel shopping! I can not wait, get her closet ready cause its abut to be filled. I can not believe it! I better be on her emergency list! I need access to my girl at all times! I got it all of it and I will make sure my girl is ready for it all! Ugh I am too excited!

Mercy: Excuse you no Jones has ever or will ever be an idiot. You gotta give yourself room to just be sometimes.

Mercy: How do you know? You say he's a 2 but have you even stopped and talked to him. He's not that same guy who just let me leave on tour and I am not the same girl. I still have feelings for him, and I have to see if he has any for me. I have to know.

Andre: We can, even if it does get a little freaky on occasion. There's still no one else I would rather share a brain with.

Andre: I knew you'd be excited about that one. I'll make sure I cycle out what she can't wear anymore. Maybe I'll ask Kurt or Blaine if Hepburn could use or fit any of it. Our girl is growing up, fast. The other day I had a flash of her at prom. I'm already a mess, I swear. Of course you're on the emergency contact list, and the approved pickup list. Evelyn agreed, and thanks you as always.

Andre: I know. I know that. I'm just...Nevermind. I'm cool.

Andre: Because I know. Maybe I would buy into that if this were the second, maybe even the third time you two had tried to go at it. But you know, at this point, it's just a choice. Like I said I won't stop you. I'll be here to pick up the pieces too. I'm just not looking forward to getting back on this merry-go-round. I get it, though. Do what you have to for yourself. I'll be here no matter what.

Mercy: How is my girl? I need to come steal her away for a girls day! You need to make sure you are taking care of yourself.

Mercy: So I still have feelings for Sam and I want to ask him out. I know how you feel but I can't stop the way I feel.

Andre: You're right, I think we've proven that more than enough times.

Andre: She's doing good, growing like a weed. She's going to need some new school clothes in the next couple of weeks. Can you believe she's starting preschool, Cedes? Where has the time gone? Evelyn is going to take her to get a few things this weekend, but I thought I'd take her again when she comes back to me on Wednesday. If you want her Thursday and Friday night, that would be great. She would love to see you, and you know you're better at all that nail, hair, and glitter.

Andre: I'm trying, believe me on that.

Andre: I did, yeah. I'm starting to wonder if I'm just being an idiot, but...

Andre: He hasn't responded yet.

Andre: Oh for fucks- Cedes. We've been over this. That guy is not for you. On a scale of 1-10, he's at a 2 while you're at 5,000. I'm not going to stop you from going after what you want, but I'm not going to keep my mouth shut about thinking you're making a mistake either.

Andre: Cedes, there you go again with that sixth sense. I was just getting ready to text you.

Andre: I'm good, really damn tired but good.

Andre: How are you? Are you going to Oliver Bray's cookout?

Alright so go with me on this- I wanted to announce that I’m having a nice little shindig at my place for the long, holiday weekend. I figure we’ll start things up at around 1:30 PM, and go until we can’t anymore! I’ll be firing up the grill, and taking care of all the food and drink items, so let me know if there’s something specific you’ll want. Otherwise, we’ll do the usual- burgers, dogs, grilled chicken, veggie skewers, potato salad, regular salad, slaw, green beans, the works. Of course we’ll have an open bar, so no worries there. I’m asking anyone who wants to, to bring a dessert of some kind, but if you show up empty-handed you won’t be heckled. Let me know if you want to swing by, there’s plenty to do. And, I’ve got a pool, so bring those suits to enjoy one of the last warm days of the year.

It sounds like it’ll be a great time Oliver, and it would be nice to see you and everyone else again. I’ll RSVP, and I’ll bring a dessert. My ex-wife has our daughter this weekend, so I’ll be kid-free and ready for some adult interaction. Other than party planning, how are things in your world?

Mercy: I think the fact that you care enough to feel bad says alot. We can't help who we like and when we like them. Kurt is amazing so it makes sense.

Mercy: You act like he cheated one me. He didn't. Our relationship ended because of timing. Sam is a great man and so yes I am gonna defend him, as my friend and as someone I care about.

Andre: I know you're right, but...I don't know. I know it's complicated. I've waited a really long time to have my chance. And it's a chance I never thought I'd have again. But I...

Andre: Maybe not. But I seem to remember he had plenty of opportunity the last time he moved up to these parts, and he blew it. What's so different now? I understand all of that, trust me I do. But I need you to understand that as your big brother, it is my sworn duty to make sure you're taken care of, and with someone who is right.

Mercy: Really? Well then this just got interesting.

Mercy: How do you know? Sam and I had our chance and yes I have feelings but that doesn't mean anything. And for the record he is still my friend, and hes a great guy.

Andre: I know. I feel horrible about it. That's the last thing he needs right now, with the divorce, and just moving...He's probably not even ready. I know separating from Blaine had to break his heart. He doesn't need me complicating things.

Andre: Because I'm your big brother and I know. You're still defending him. Cedes, you can do better.

Mercy: What did you want it to be?

Mercy: What do you mean no? Trust me Sam Evans is not thinking about me. He doesn't feel that way about me anymore.

Andre: I don't know. I...Maybe I wanted it to be something like a date?

Andre: Maybe not now, but eventually that will change. I know the two of you, together and individually. I can't and won't stand around and watch you waste your time on the past.

Andre: I appreciate you looking out for me, but I think I'm fully aware of what such an offer entails. It sounds like your assistant needs to toughen up.
