A small ask blog for fans of the Queen's Thief series! • Mostly The Thief centric but I'll answer questions through Thick as Theives • Art style may vary • main blog: @hoidingaroundthecosmere • Alex, they/them
my hobby is explaining the climax of koa to ppl who have never read it. like your king is a brat whom everyone (including the queen) hates and you punched him in the face one time and he’s been bullying you about it for weeks but you’ve just come to the unfortunate realisation that you would low-key die for him just in time for an assassination attempt and now he is bleeding. and you’re the only person around so you carry him through the palace to where his famously stone-cold wife is waiting and the first thing your grievously injured bratty bitchy king does in front of the entire court is smooch his excellent wife whom he loves. and the only thing keeping him upright. is you. point-blank range to your monarchs’ make-out sesh. this is not the weirdest thing that will happen to you this week
dogs will just go "AUGH! AUGH! AUGH!!" at the top of their lungs because they heard any random guy exist outside but a cat at even its most distraught just walks around going "wow. Whoa. Woww."
Queen’s Thief Appreciation Week, Day 12: Favorite Parallel
ok I bit off a lil more than I could chew on this one by picking a 6-way parallel, so proabably skipping the last 2 days that I’m already late for
BUT this is my absolute favorite parallel ever since I noticed how much Attolia likes to touch gen’s face 🤔 6 times specifically during QoA, as shown above… it’s less romantic and more like a power move on her part but i love it so much
do you think gen told costis to say the thing about "my king blames your master for the loss of his right hand, so now he has to lose his" or did costis come up with that on his own and think it was a normal and nonthreatening introduction that will make someone trust you
