Slight thing real quick

Sometimes asks disappear from my inbox, and I'm not sure why. I've seen it happen a few times, which sucks, but i want you guys to know. If an ask hasn't been answered in a while and I'm not on a hiatus from Splitmind, it's okay to send in a possible repeat ask. Worst case scenario I delete a duplicate.

Is there any way for Slugcats to oust the Iterator from their minds, or for the Iterator to remove themselves? What happens when the Slugcat gets old?

Another text answer bc this involves some of my headcanoning the scugs don't know about!

So, when a creature gets old, there is no such death as old age. It's just time wearing down your body to an extent something kills you. In rain world, since nothing can truly die, old creatures simply wake up, die pretty fast, and then wake up again a few cycles later. Creatures waiting outside the cycle to be brought back to life don't age, which is how some can be so young and still be alive far past when they should be.

So it'd just be constant painful death when the sluggies get old. Also, they can't leave. They're very stuck.

For anyone with a partner: is it complicated having a "third wheel"? (For the scugs, the Iterators in their heads - not sure if any of the Iterators have partners, but even more so for them with not having control of the body they're in a lot of the time.) How do you guys manage that?

I'm sorry for people who are waiting for asks to be answered, my motivation jumped backwards to my writing and another AU.

I also have 27 in the inbox atm, but I promise I've been drumming up responses that I just don't wanna draw rn.

It does not help that my phone (aka the only thing I can draw on) has not been kind to me lately bc Paint is taking up so much storage space that I can't take pictures anymore.

I'm planning on saving up for a tablet that I can use to draw, but I'm broke for now.
