YouTube is advertising puppy mills - Don’t consider buying these puppies!

YouTube is advertising greenfieldpuppies.com, a site that advertises tons and tons of random breeders and rely on people viewing the site to figure out whether or not a breeder is good.

They claim they’ll stop advertising breeders violating state laws…states don’t have the same laws on breeding. A lot have barely any regulation at all.

Unsurprisingly, most of the breeders are from Pennsylvania, which is known for having tons of puppy mills.

This is probably obvious to other dog owners because greenfieldpuppies is a site we avoid, but I’m posting it anyway in case someone falls for these ads.

idk I just love how we Young People Today use ~improper~ punctuation/grammar in actually really defined ways to express tone without having to explicitly state tone like that’s just really fucking cool, like

Charities/organisations to avoid:

PETA: They’d rather spend their money on publicity campaigns than on the animals in their care. PETA killed 73.8% of the animals in their care in 2015 (x)

FCKH8: Is a for-profit company that exploits oppressed groups for money. They’re also wildly uninformed, and spread misogyny, cissexism and bi/panphobia, as well as stealing their posts/designs (x)

Autism Speaks: They spend most of their money on researching a way to eliminate autism, heighten the stigma against autism and don’t have a single autistic person on their board (x)

MEASLES UPDATE 2/23/19

This is unacceptable. Measles is still out there and hurting people. We really should not be seeing measles in this day and age, since medical technology has progressed to the point where we have the luxury of long life. There’s been more of a push than ever to overturn vaccination exemptions, and at this point, they’re needed more than ever.
