Headcanons of what the sakamaki brothers fangs are like?

this is such a cool idea! i've always felt like the brothers must each have different shapes/sizes to their fangs, since they can always tell when a bite mark isn't their own

fang headcanons for the sakamaki brothers:

Shu:

- they're the largest out of all the brothers

- wide set and built for a powerful bite

- thank god he doesn't feed angrily or he'd tear a hole straight through his prey's neck

- fangs are also general estimate of a male vampire's...assets

- the bigger the teeth, the bigger the cock

- of course, it isn't always accurate

- but in this case it totally is - and they've damn well seen the proof of it in the hot springs drama cd

- heyo @ask-sakamaki-shu can i have some verification on this i know i'm right none of the rest of your brothers have big dick energy

Reiji:

- very long, thin, and curved

- elegant in their own way - like small, pristine white daggers

- he takes excellent care of them and even has a custom fang dental floss that he uses every night

- they curve so far inward that whenever he bites down he has to angle his head to make sure he gets the right vein

Ayato:

- typical fangs, nothing strange about them

- look like they popped right out of a vampire anatomy textbook they're that basic

- only unconventional thing was that ayato took a really long time to lose his baby fangs

- all his brothers had lost theirs and shu already had a fine set growing in, so lil ayato was more insecure than ever

- got close to hammering them out forcefully but laito talked him out of it

- he just sulked and felt like a hopeless cause until one day he tripped over a tapestry edge while playing tag in the castle

- smashed his face into the stairs and broke a fang + two front teeth

- looked positively manical with blood running down his chin but still went running to cordelia with the teeth to show her

- she barely gave him a second look and told him to go clean himself up, and ayato still nurses a sore spot about how little fucks she gave

- he put them under his pillow anyway and stayed up all night to try to see the fang fairy when she came to give him his penny

- fell asleep, but vaguely remembers stirring awake after midnight and seeing her outline by the window

- still tells his brothers about the incident and treasures the penny she left

- he doesn't know that it was just laito in a wig

Kanato:

- they're...cute

- but kanato's not insecure about them! they fit into his loli boy aesthetic so he just rolls with it

- they're more sensitive than most fangs though, so he's very careful about not chomping into something too cold

- not very noticeable, especially since he usually doesn't smile open mouthed, but on the rare occasions they can be seen they're downright adorable. and then you remember that they can tear through you faster than a piranha, so i guess the cuteness factor goes down a little.

Laito:

- longest out of the triplets, and slightly uneven

- the right is bigger than the left, but laito doesn't mind in the slightest because he thinks it makes him unique

- lost his baby fangs the earliest, but cordelia didn't even notice so he didn't bother telling her and just buried them in the castle grounds. even at that age, he didn't believe in anything as naïve as the 'fang fairy', and though he played along and dressed up as one to get all his brothers their pennies he doesn't look back on that time with fondness

- because how come everyone got to have their stupid little childhood dreams fulfilled and he got nothing but the bleak knowledge that they weren't true?

Subaru:

- big, bulky, and slightly blunt at the ends

- so he really has to put in some effort into that first chomp to make sure he gets through the skin

- subaru has the highest record of most humans killed during the adolescent stages

- he was the last to figure out which artery and which vein was the best pick, and had a bad history of accidentally puncturing the spinal cord and then freaking out when the victim started having seizures

- subaru's first feeds usually looked a little something like this

- he got the hang of it though! .... eventually....after few hundred times...yeah.
