It really depends who you’re asking. I mean, my life is pretty drab, aside from taking care of bullies every now and then. But you know, Daniel and Anneliese sure do make a cute couple.

It’s been 1000 years since I last updated. xD Not really, probably like three months. But anyways! I decided to draw Amelia and Madeline for... reasons. Okay I’m just really bored now that classes are out and wanted to draw something festive. 

Madeline: How come I have to be the elf and you’re the one in red?

Amelia: Duh! Cuz I’m obviously the cheeriest! Oh! Is that a candy cane?!

Just got back from Sakura-con and I had such a blast! Not only did I get to see most of the panels I wanted to see, but I also bought quite a bit of merchandise that I had been meaning to buy for a really long time. 

Now, if you hadn’t noticed, I have this thing for Free! And I’m a hardcore NagiRei shipper! Last year, I was searching tirelessly for a doujinshi with Nagisa as the one ‘taking the lead’ and in the end, my search was fruitless. Around August of last year, I finally started this tumblr and started searching up my favorite pair when I came across MissLucid’s tumblr page, where she was working on an actual NagiRei doujinshi! She was selling them online some time around Oct./Nov I believe? Anyway, I was debating whether I should buy it or not at the discretion that my family is a bit conservative about these things... Long story short, I waited too long and she sold out. T^T I wanted to kick myself... 

I really enjoyed her art though so I started following her tumblr. Anyway, last weekend she posted an announcement about traveling to some conventions and was pleasantly surprised that she was coming to Sakura-Con. >w< (I went searching for her booth Friday, but couldn’t find her.) Saturday I finally found her booth, and just my luck she was selling the doujinshi! It was the last one and I was like, I got to buy it right away! She was super nice and even signed it! Let’s just say I had a little fangirl moment. xD Again, it was nice meeting you miss lucid and I apologize if I came across as weird... I’m a little socially awkward. I went back today to get a Momo and Rei button on top of a future fish kids bookmark... so cute!

Free!:The School Festival Episode

I just watched the OVA and omg.... I squealed like no tomorrow! Nitori in a maid outfit. >W< I kept chanting to the heavens, “Please let Momo be in a maid outfit, please let Momo in a maid outfit!” And then... I laughed like a maniac. xD Especially when Nagisa flipped his skirt. Let’s just say I’m secretly a Momogisa? Nagimomo? shipper. And then Kisumi showed up, and things got thirty times better! xDDD You know what, the whole thing was my favorite part. How the guys ‘died’ dramatically. xD Rei should consider going into theater. A++ performace. After the water gun fight, I couldn’t help but lose myself to what the series was truly about: true friendship. (I put aside my shipping needs) And that nearly brought me to tears of joy and a little sadness knowing that this will be the last episode we will ever see of Free!

Update

I've got good news, and I've got bad news. I'll start off with the bad news first. (Feel Free to skip to good news, since bad news may not be relevant.)

                                         Bad News

So... my laptop broke. Like I don't think it's salvageable. The charger rod thing inside the laptop broke off and is loose somewhere inside it. OTL I've had this thing for like, 11 months. Which has most, if not all my stories. And I still had like over 500 GBs of memory that will never be used. T^T And here I was, ready to finally invest in a tablet to improve my drawings. Now I'm stuck with my old, crappy windows 7 99 GB netbook. Which can't even use directx 10, which is required for a lot of new games plus broadcasting/livestreaming programs.And to top it off, I only have like 22 gb space free on the memory. The touch pad is a lot smaller on this, making it a lot harder to draw on gimp. My crappy drawings will look even crappier now. I'm going to start saving up again, and hopefully in a few months I'll be able to buy a new one. For now, I'll just have to make do.

                                     Good News

Now, onto the good news. So, I'm still pretty obsessed with the aph avatar au and decided to join in. :) I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick with the Kyoshi warrior non-bender. I don't want to enter the fandom feeling like a total ditz, so I've been re-watching ATLA to get a better grasp on it. I've especially been taking notes on each nation's clothing, agriculture, and fighting styles. Oh, and their history. I want to come into the fandom completely prepared. I'm on episode 37 right now, so I'm almost there! And I'm more than likely going to use Nyo! Japan as my muse.
