Odyssey (Demaxian) Janna:

A sickly but brilliant technician of of Demaxian mission control, Janna is adored by her peers for her gentle nature and for having a sort of otherworldly grace about her even in the most stressful situations. No one really knows why she joined the military instead of using her skills in a more lucrative job at one of the empire's ora processing plants, but one can make an educated guess based on her excitement and flustered expression every time Ordinal Sheida Kayn returns to base after a mission.

Janna currently hides three secrets from the empire - her past as an (unwilling) member of the criminal Syndicate, her possession of a mysterious ancient AI program known as "Zephyr", and her ability to manipulate ora and hear ora deposits “singing” to her.

//Hmm, once I get back here I think I might change a few things about immortal journey AU, mainly Janna’s personality/backstory. I do want to eventually make her a genki girl type female lead but I think she should start out less able to emote/understand her own emotions. I still want to keep her childish side, so think kanna kamui from kobayashi’s dragon maid.

I still want to keep her as a normal human pushed into an inhuman task of guarding the sword for eons, but otherwise I may scrap the “I saw all my friends and family die and became the guardian as a last resort” edgy part and more of  that she chose to become the guardian and isolate herself with the sword. She still has amnesia about her former human life, and I want her growth to be something more like learning to be her old energetic/expressive self
