what is your favorite thing to do since you’ve been away from Finn?

"My favorite thing was clearing out the rest of the dungeon, but it was all low-level garbage so it didn't take very long. Since then I've just been reading the books I found down there and whittling stuff out of wood. But I'm running out of chair and dungeon wood and books that don't fall apart when I touch them. I'm bored out of my mind, so my options are leave and risk getting seen, or maybe become a dungeon boss monster now that the position's open. Haven't decided yet."

How do you feel about finn?

"I've been thinking about that question a lot myself, basically the whole time I was dragging my pieces back together. I'm pretty sure I hate his guts and wish I'd just killed him in the first place."

Do you miss Jake?

"More than anything, but I missed him even when I lived on top of the treehouse. Hard to feel close to your brother when you're not his brother."

What do you remember from being finnsword?

"I remember most of what I saw from the sword, and if I ever see Bandit Princess again I'm going to make her regret every single evil decision she's ever made in her entire existence, from whatever her first life was to her current as a cruel, self-serving, thieving tranch."

"Dude. I'm just trying to vibe out here, I don't need the world's jerkiest fortune cookie heckling me about whether or not I've gone nuts."

How long have you been in the ziggurat?

"Few weeks, a month? Maybe two months... Couldn't really keep track for a while so I just never bothered figurin' it out. Anyways, it's not like I don't ever step outside the ziggurat, I just don't go very far. I'd starve if I went full dungeon dweller, I gotta get that sunlight."

Oh? How did you get away from Finn then?

"Technically, he got away from me. I messed up, Finn skronked me up bad just like he does any other monster, and I was left to pick up my own pieces once he went home."

figured it'd do good to write some things down. This blog represents an alternate universe where none of the stuff with Gumbald happens. I just think canon did Fern dirty so I'm doing my own thing here. It's started at a currently unknown time after the events of Three Buckets. please note that this is an ask blog, not a roleplay blog, and I will not respond to asks physically interacting with the world or any character. Nor will I accept magic anons. sorry! just not my thing.

"This ruined temple...Thing. Ziggurat? Some old dungeon I found a while ago. Needed someplace to lay low and figured Finn wouldn't come near anytime soon."

Hey, what's your favorite flower? OR thoughts on picking flowers?

[He shrugs, looking mildly annoyed. It seems to be his default right now.]

"Those tiny blue ones are neat, I guess? Never thought about it much, and I don't care what you do with flowers. Pick, plant, burn, shred, eat, whatevs. Being made of grass doesn't mean I'm some sort of... nature spirit or in tune with plants or anything."
