Dunno. I think it's hard to believe we're being watched over, given what we do everyday. But... I'll admit, it's comforting to imagine we'll land in a place that isn't just void.

He keeps his posture straight, showing no sign of strain or weakness. That's what gets a soldier in trouble, everyone has seen it enough times. Swallowing thickly, Taylor flushes down all of the acidic words he wishes he could say in response.

Taylor practically stumbles back to the weight room, breath ragged and hot. He was aggravated; tired of all the teasing and backhand comments from the soldiers around him.

He vents to another private, hastily pulling on gloves before slamming his fists helplessly into the punching bag. Sure, they could've been adults about it. But they were just boys shipped into the military.
