Matt woke up in a big tank with a lot of other little fish. His scars were gone and his arm was back, however he was smaller and his hair was shorter. He was a child again, yet his mind remained the same.

Matt was just swimming along, minding his own business, when suddenly a net comes out of nowhere came a net and he was dragged to the surface.

Event start!

Matt swam up to Kiku. He smiled brightly and put his sunglasses on.

“Hey Kiku. Let’s go on an outing together.” Kiku smiled and nodded. Matt took him to land and proceeded to turn them human.

First, they went out for sushi, one of Kiku’s favorite things. Kiku had ordered tobiko sushi while Matt ordered crab sushi.

Next Matt took him to a book shop. Kiku was amazed by all the books they had. He proceeded to pick the ‘Wings of Fire’ series as he had always been interested in dragons, the book ‘Kiki’s Delivery Service’ and the book ‘Howel’s Moving Castle.’

Finally Matt took him to the beach to make sandcastles. They had such a great time.

When they returned home Matt turned them back into their mer selves and waterproofed the books. He finally smiled and reached up to Kiku as he was on a high rock and gave him a kiss. Surprised at first Kiku just sat there, but then he kissed back, the kiss being full of love.

Oooh! A date? What're you gonna do? Where are ya gonna go?

“I’ll take him to land. We’ll go to a sushi shop and other places. You’ll see soon.”

He took them to the rock and turned them back into mers before letting them go home. He waved and smiled having had a great day with his two claimed brothers
