Are you nice and comfy now? Yes? good! Once upon a time…There was a royal family that consisted of three sons and one beautiful daughter…

The three brothers where named Kie, Scheck, Khoriv and lastly their sister, Lebid… Having lost their parents and home from an invasion from the East, they went out to search for a new one.

Once they reach the sparkling blue Dnipro River, they could spot more land from where they stood, seven lush majestic hills green with kashtan trees and the prettiest flowers. It was then that Kie decided that would be their new home.

With help from his brothers, Kie built a boat and they crossed the river to other side. Due to King Kie being the bravest and eldest, the siblings agreed the new city would be called KYIV in honor of him.

Each of the brothers ruled a hill. Kie's settling what became Borichev, Scheck's settling what became Shchekovitsa, and Khoriv's settling what became Khorevitsa. And thus this was how the great city was founded, the end!… I hope I did a good job, I’m sorry but I’m a bit rusty!.. I haven’t done so since I use to tell Ivan and Natalia were little. Ah-

Ah.. thank you for the advice however I've learned from the past.. It was very tough when we all lived under brother’s roof. Poor baltics always had bloody noses after my clumsiness! They always told me it was alright but I still feel very awful for hurting them! I’m much more careful now if only I was back then…
