Update / Announcement!

Finals are coming up, and all of my final projects need some attention, so I may have to disappear for a few weeks. Don't worry—I am not dead! I am just locking TF in so I can graduate and GET OUTTA HERE!

For those of you A Siren's Requiem fans, I am halfway done drawing the next chapter, so I hope to return with that in hand. I know that it's been a WHILE since I updated it, as my focus has been on other work and commissions, but I would really like to continue this story to the end, even if it takes me so long. I love seeing the improvement my art sees every single chapter, and I think I have such a fun story to tell, and I want to see it through! Thank you for being patient with me you all are so lovely <3

Some people have DM’d me worried that I’ve stopped making this- I promise I’m not done with this AU friends, just focusing on college right now! Whenever I get a little free time I like to work on different projects instead of just this one so bear with me loves, I’m in my final semester and I’ve just gotta lock in that degree!

Anyways, are you aware that your AU might end up on chat.ai or things like that? I am just curious. If so, what are your thoughts about that? (No pressure to answer. I'm just genuinely curious.)

Thank you! I'm happy to see how much people enjoy my little story. On the subject of chatbots and such, I do have some fairly strong opinions. The short answer is that I don't mind my AU versions of these characters being used for things like chatbots as long as it's not for commercial use, especially given that these characters are Vivziepop's and not mine to begin with, BUT I have an absolute zero tolerance to using my art to create AI art.

When it comes to AI in general, my idea on it come down to it being: Why use AI and ruin the fun of creating the various forms of art? Why not create a bot that does your chores for you instead of creating an art piece that you could instead take the time to practice and create out of enjoyment? These AI developments particularily around creativity ruin the fun that we should be having and expressing in life, and that's not even taking into account what it does to many creative individuals' livelyhoods.

So if anyone chooses to use the versions of these characters for their own use through things like character bots, I simply ask you to use them responsibly, respectfully, and non-commercially. <3

Honestly, I had no idea what to do with Sir Pentious, nor did I have any plans for him, but I still wanted him to make a cameo. I could do a silly little spinoff minicomic of him meeting Cherry Bomb sometime potentially

How is Charlie associated to the story? Is she still Lucifer’s daughter??

She is Lucifer's daughter, and that goes for most relationships. Lilith is/was with Lucifer, Posidon/God is Lucifer father/creator, etc.

I think the only one that is currently cannon in the show that isn't established yet in the story is Vaggie and Charlie's relationship. I want to do a little minicomic sidestory of their meeting in this universe <3

Does Adam play a large role in the comic??

He is more of a side character as of right now since I've only really written the story up to the end of the second arc/season, where a majority of it takes place on land. Since Adam is a siren, he will make more appearances and significant impacts once the plot moves into the sea :)

Long time no see! Here's a lovely little update post for you all!

Chapter 4 progress was on hiatus for about a month and a half to focus on school and event weeks... well, I am happy to say that has come to an end! I have finished up sketches for pages 1 and 2 of chapter 4. I am vigorously working to get that, and potentially the lineart as well, finished up in this next week.

The entirety of.. season? Arc? #1 is finished in writing, and has been for a while, but I have touched it up and made it so so good I am very excited.

I will be making official character sheets for my designs for Lucifer and Alastor in ASR as I have received a few requests for such! Given this information, I was to make it known that you are very welcome to make art of my AU and my designs! The only rule I have is that I BETTER BE TAGGED IN THIS ART!! I want to munch on it and then stick it on my fridge so I can see it everyday and smile.

Finally.... I have a big announcement coming soon regarding a certain very awesome charity project that I'll be taking part in with this little AU ;)

I want to apologize to you all for being so slow with this comic. I am currently a student in college and I always put my studies before almost everything else.

I get a lot of messages regularly asking when the next chapter will be out, and I unfortunately don't have answers. I promise I don't plan on abandoning this project, I will be carrying this story to end, but I will be doing so on my own time. I also recieve complaints on how I continue to post other content that is not this comic; I am writing this comic for fun, and if I wish to maintain interest, I need other things to work on and indulge in. It is my choice on what I choose to draw and work on.

Please refrain from reaching out to ask when the next chapter will be, it does not make it go faster, nor can I provide an expected date. I will continue to post what I want and you will simply have to be patient. This has been a growing problem for a while and it needed to be addressed.

That being said, to all of those who have shown continued support regardless, it means so much to me and I appreciate all of the silly comments and insight that you provide. Please take care of yourselves and everyone around you, sending my love your way. <3

are Lucifer intentions malicious?

I wouldn't say so, it's more-so that he cannot trust anyone. He may be clumsy and unfamiliar with the new world around him but he does understand that humans would kill him without second thought if he were revealed in any way. While isn't intentionally malicious

...doesn't mean he isn't malicious at some point ;)
