hi! tell me if i can't ask questions like this, but could i ask what texture you used for inaviga's graphics?

these questions are more than okay! i don’t have the specific textures i used for that promo, however i know for sure i simply google “technology textures” and “coding textures”. i also looked the same things up on pinterest, which was very helpful. let me know if you’d like me to put together a technology texture collection!

not a request, how do you do that crumpled paper texture / overlay?

if you’re talking about something like this-

it’s actually fairly easy! simply pic the background image you’ll be using, i chose this one

next, choose the texture you want to use. i google “crumpled paper texture” or “folded paper texture” usually to find what i need. for the example, i used this one

open both pictures in your editing program. paste the texture layer over the background image. lower the paper textures opacity until it looks right. and then you’re done! feel free to reach out with any specific questions.

Hello, I was wondering if you knew how to make icon borders? But the one where you can see the picture come through the border, and if you could show how to make them? And if not do you know someone who has a tutorial on how to make them?

unfortunately, i have no idea how to make icon borders. it’s my weak point, so i apologize! @jaynedits makes beautiful borders with their psds, so perhaps you might be able to ask them. sorry for the inconvenience!

i’m thinking about selectively taking requests for theme backgrounds. i know not a lot of people really use themes, anymore, but for those who do, would anyone be interested?

i would take the requests through ims, not through the submit box, to keep other requests separate. i’d only take one at a time. and you’d have to have a theme code in mind beforehand, as i’d have to make the background around a certain theme.

thoughts?
