A brown haired woman lay passed out in a hospital bed. She was a sickly looking Jane Doe who had been found in a comatose state a few years ago, she showed no signs of waking. Today was the day they would ‘pull her plug’ as they say. One of the attending nurses was somewhat more solemn than the rest, she had grown fond of the twenty something woman even though they hadn't exchanged so much as a glance. The plugs and tubes were all pulled, save the heart monitor, the nurse held the girl’s hand whilst simultaneously feeling her pulse so she could call the patient’s final moments. Seconds ticked by… And then, with a tired groan the woman who had not moved in four years stretched like she was waking up from a nap. Long eyelashes brushed at the dark circles under her eyes her brown- nearly black- eyes were a little blood shot as she looked around the room. Shocked, the attending doctor and nurses rushed about, a light was shined in the ex- comatose patient’s eyes which made her wince. Finally when it lulled into a slightly more quiet state the nurse with a fondness for the girl grabbed her hand again, “Miss, I’m sorry to tell you, you’ve been in a coma for nearly four and a half years. The girl stared at the nurse for a moment before she stared at their joined hands in a moment of confusion. Looking back up at the nurse she quirked one dark eyebrow, “And?” that left the nurse at a bit of a stand still. What did she mean ‘And?’ like commas are a normal thing for her? The doctor cut in, “What’s your name Ma’am? Do you have anyone we can contact for you?” She studied him for an unsettling moment before she focused in on the hospital logo on his white coat. The girl grinned, a crooked turn up of her lips that looked strangely fitting. She relayed a phone number, “His name is Savir Kosta. Tell him Mela Belphegor is calling.” The nurse who was taking down the information started to play with the small cross on her neck nervously, “Belphegor? Like the demon?” The girl, Mela’s, grin became a smile much too innocent to be real. “Just the same miss.” The nurse who still gripped Mela’s hand suddenly seem to remember something, “Isn’t there a Doctor S. Kosta in pediatrics?” the doctor thought for a second and nodded, “Marie go page him.” The nurse who was jotting down information nodded and speed-walked to the nurse's station. “Is your Savir a doctor?” Mela looked over the nurse for a moment before nodding, then she pulled her hand back away having decided that was enough hand holding for her thank you very much. Mela looked like she wanted to ask a question herself when in burst a relatively attractive indian man in a white lab coat with the nurse from earlier following close behind him. The man was watery-eyed when he caught sight of the younger girl, he made the distance between then in what was basically running. He pulled her up and held her to his chest, his unsteady breathing and Mela’s soft uncomfortable noise as the air was being squeezed out of her where the only noises in the room for the moment. He pulled back so he could look at her face, his shaky voice was not too deep or too high, “We- we thought we lost you when you disappeared.” the girl whispered something to him and he nodded. Savir and stood up motioning for his colleagues to join him in the hall. “What connection do you have to this girl Savir?” asked the blonde doctor, who only half an hour ago was ready to declare this girl dead. Savir bit on the nail on his thumb for a moment, staring intently at nothing before making eye contact with the other doctor, “She is my cousin, well my uncle fostered her, I think she was still a ward of the state at the end.” “Why was a missing persons never filed?” Savir looked over the blonde doctor pensively, “It was not particularly uncommon for her to disappear for a few years at a time. Now, would you mind if I call the rest of my family.” the blonde nodded and walked to the nurse’s station before going to a different part of the hospital. Doctor Savir went back into Mela’s room and slid the door closed, he spoke in a firm and rather intimidating voice, “Where have you been Sloth? You’ve been missing for nine years.” Mela snorted and cast the doctor a tired glare, “Why does it matter where I’ve been Patience, not like I haven’t been getting my work done while I’ve been away.” Savir sighed, though he represented the Virtue of Patience dealing with a sin as tiring as Sloth was beginning to test his resolve. “It matters because both the lord and him have been searching for you relentlessly, and your brethren have begun wreaking havoc since your disappearance” Mela closed her eyes and leaned further back in her pillow, “When haven’t they wreaked havoc? And obviously y’all haven't been searching hard considering I’ve been in the hospital you work at for four years,” She sat up, “Now Go,” she waved her hand lazily, “Call the others, I’m sure they’ll have some crap to yell at me.” Savir stood up but when he reached the door he looked back, “You need to start being serious about this Mel.” Mela smiled to herself as she fell back on the bed he was already gone but she still spoke, “As soon as I summon the energy, Doc, I will.” she turned on her side, “But until then, I'm going to take a nap.” Hell had four different types of weather. All of them crappy. Today an unrelenting muggy heat settled over the endless place, a breeze that was like dog’s breath carried the smell of rott. And then. The devil screamed- or yelled but it was a little high pitched for a yell. No matter where you were in damn nation you felt it. A searing pain at the devils fit was searing through every soul. The six sins present didnt even flinch as the devil crashed his fist into the wall, putting another new hole in it. “Sir?” the female voice that prompted him was whiney and belonged the the blonde haired beauty that was the sin Envy. She lay lounged out against a slightly singed velvet couch and watched the goateed man huff and puff. “Its Sloth.” Two words, two words was all it took for six of some of the deadliest entities in the entire plane of existence to snap to attention like dogs. “What about her?” Greed prompted, thick black eyebrows furrowing. He adjusted the green tie around his neck, “has she been found?” Lucifer nodded, “By one of the Virtues.” at the mention of the otherside each sin had a few curses to spew, but they obediently silenced at the raised hand of their boss. “Wrath, Greed, Gluttony. You are to go to the mortal plane and retrive her.”

The look in his eye was… heartbreaking. One prominent image became the comparison she would always draw when she looked into his eyes. A street dog that's given up. Maybe after a fight, maybe after a long hard life. It didn't matter which. And this revelation- this new image- of the once unbreakable admittedly cocky man she once knew made every memory seem fake.

The girl looked at the boy tripping over his words in front of her. She couldn't stop the disdain form showing on her face. “Jesus, I get it it's a dare. Whatever, now fuck off.” The boy- what was his name? Jack, Jeff, something with a J maybe- looked like a deer caught in headlights.”oh… sorr-” The girl cut him of, keeping her cold expression, “oh, no, your not.” And there was silence, because no, he was not. The girl waved her hand in dismissal without looking at him, like a queen to her court. She, for better or worse, was an outcast. But she had a sort of pull with other students, maybe for the sole reason that she has never started shit with any of them- which was rare in high school now a days. She turned her attention back to the book at hand, the title was something in Latin the boy didn't know how to read and only caught a glance of as he retreated with his tail between his legs. His friends laughed and sucked in desperate breaths as their faces turned red with amusement. And suddenly the boy was feeling bad. The girl on the other hand, she held her head up with a uncrackable neutral expression, her eyes looked over each word in her book dutifully. But if one cared to look close enough they could see her knuckles turn white from her grip on the book.

No sound echoed from the dark cave where a man that emitted power from every pour slept on a bed of ebony. The water of the Lethe river didn't make a noise as it flowed past the man with goldy features. He had dark hair mused into a permanent bed head, a strong greek nose, and a bowing of his lips. He slept peacefully he was, after all, the god of sleep himself. Soundlessly three robed and hooded figures entered his dreamscape. They are the servants of Hypno. Alpha, Beta, And Gamma, three of the few that could and actively choose to enter a godly being’s mind and not go insane or simply disintegrate. A gods’ mind is something so powerful, so complex, that the only way to even begin to describe it would be like seeing everything, every detail of Earth in HD. No mind save a fellow immortals would even begin to be able to process it. In his dreamscape Hypnos stood as he watched screens flicker to different pictures so fast it was difficult to see anything more than white light. There was a conference table between the three and himself, he turned to his servants with a lazy grin. “Alpha, Beta, Gamma.” Gamma stepped forward, “You seem in an incredibly good mood considering the prophecy that was just recived by those demi-gods. Sir.”

Quatro Cerberus was her home. They were nowhere near the best. Yet. But they had family bonds that rival even Fairy Tail’s. Not that anyone would know. Okay, so yes, she was somewhat bitter. But really, they always got such a crappy rep. Liana “Sand Storm” Shianni was a proud but somewhat reserved member of Quatro Cerberus. Dressed to fit her desert magic she wore a black turtleneck and cargo pants, a grey cowl/bandana with a pair of goggles under a patterned hooded cloak, topped off with a leather belt, two canteens, and gloves. Her black hair was messy and braided, hidden under the her hood with her jagged cut bangs peeking out. Most of her dark tan skin was hidden. Liana was one of four women in Quatro Cerberus, and part of a large team consisting of the former competitors of the GMG (minus Bacchus) and one of the guild’s other woman. It saddened her seeing the subtle (and not so subtle) changes her team went through after their ‘easy’ defeat. Rocker, stopped with his spiked hair because it made him too noticeable. He now wore it in a pony tail. Most people would consider that a positive change. But it just didn't sit right with Liana. Warcry, the “ ferocious dog” quieted down, again something that would be considered good, if not for the reasons behind it. Jager let caring for other and his plants consume him, his team had to make sure that he remembered to take care of himself and socialize on a regular basis. Nobarly retreated into the world of books, he was tired of and hurt by the idiotic and dim description the people outside of the guild had of him. He sometimes would disappear to the town library for days. Semmes had started to stop wearing his extravagant face paint and hood, the first time he didn't he was practically unrecognizable! It didn't fit him. The poor man also tried desperately to work off the fat that was over his unseen stomach muscle after ‘ sorcerer weekly’ named him one of the least likely to find love due to his appearance. Liana watched as her beloved guild went about their day, she watched sadly as her male team members moped around. Catching the eyes of her female team member, an unruly looking metal and chain mage named Seffie, Liana tossed her head in the direction of Rocker (their leader). Seffie ran a hand through her half shaven pink hair and shrugged before turning back to fight another guild member. Liana rolled her eyes and went to the mission board. There weren't many good ones left but she saw one about saving a town that everyone could go on and earn decent money. Plucking it off the board she maneuvered her way through the wild crowd. “What's up Lia?” glancing at the group Rocker was sitting with, she took note that two of them weren't part of the guild, and really she didn't like talking too much with people outside of the guild. So Liana slammed the paper down in front of him to read. “ah. I don't know. Are you s-” Liana rolled her eyes and tapped the mission paper again with more force. “Fine Fine. Go Find The others and tell ‘em I'll get it approved.” Liana nodded and walked straight into the fray in the corner of the guild. Eventually, with a bruised jaw, she got to Seffie. Liana yanked on the taller woman's arm. “Damn you actually got him to accept? Alright let me finish this and I'll meet you at home.” Liana nodded and shoved her way back out of the fight, in search of Warcry. Ah, there he is. He was in a state of ‘emotion’ seven of the guild’s dogs laying on and around him. Taking note of the fact that this small part of the guild was mostly abandoned. Liana crouched down beside Warcry. “War. Hey. We’re going on a mission. And I'm trying to convince the boss to let us train too. Get up.” Warcry opened one watery eye to look at Liana before letting out a sigh, “Wild. Give Me a second and I'll help you get the others.” Liana jumped up and dusted invisible dirt off of her hands. She took a moment to pet one of the dogs before she heard Warcry get up. “so what are we doing?” he grinned and stretched. “Pack of monsters attacking a town up north. I'd suggest bringing one of the trackers.” Most of the guild’s dogs were trained to do something or another. It wasn't uncommon for them to be used on missions. “Alright. I'll get Molly. And then we'll track down Semmes. Go get our book worm and Flower man.” Liana nodded and walked quickly out of the guild, making it to the town library in no time. The librarian, as soon as she saw her, pointed Liana in the direction of Nobarly’s current book castle. Liana pushed her way through the stacks until she found her target, she poked Nobarly in the back of the head. It took him a moment but he turned to look at her. “what?” “Mission, pirate man. Get up.” Nobarly groaned and put his book down before jumping up, reenergized and offering a ‘wild’ grin, “Let's do this!” Liana chuckled under her breath and nodded, “We have to find Jager.” Nobarly grinned and threw an arm around her, “He's at home, today is ‘gardening day’ for him.” “Since when isn't it?” Liana snarked before pushing Nobarly’s arm off. It didn't take long for the odd pair to get out of town, after a stroll through the forest they came to a clearing. A large, well kept, dark wood and metal house stood proudly on the top of the only small hills in the clearing. (Termination)

‘the red pyramid hm?’ it all started with picking up that book in the empty but welcoming bookstore. [Hi. I'm Daniela Zelda Matos-Sokal, and I'm about to fuck up right here. Have fun reading about it.] Leaning against the bookshelf adjacent to the one I picked the book off of I flipped past to the dedication page and to a block of text in italics ‘WARNING The following text-’ I remembered smiling in amusement at what I assumed was a cheeky bit from the author to make the pretend of it being a recording more real. Gonna be honest with you, probably should have put the book back there. Maybe I shouldn't have flipped the damn page. But I did. So fuck. I read the first page, felt a spark, and my mind went into overdrive. ‘School….school… do- do they mean West Grove?’ not sure why that felt right and frankly, I should have cut off those crazy thoughts there. But yeah, West Grove locker number 309 felt right and I had not a clue why. (Continuation uncertain)

Hi.
Hey, Ash here. Frankly I’m just using this to archive my unfinished words and jot down story ideas that will probably never happen… I don’t know.
