It's my birthday I can do what I want

And since it's also Tails' birthday I decided to put him in Fortnite.

I mostly do 2D stuff, but @/Schollidazed on Twitter provided Sonic Rush rigs for the public a bit ago and I thought they'd be perfect for this.

There were a couple of posts that inspired this too, most of all this one from @/RikardishoGafo on Twitter that is SO good. They made a concept sheet. It's amazing.

Another person who had this 'two brothers in a trenchcoat' idea was @suieel's top tier post here.

Anyway I've never played Fortnite how'd I do?

I like the way they said not in a derogatory way because that makes sense, because some people see kids as irresponsible but we've seen sonic and his friends be responsible and save the world

Kinda like the positive things that kids do are like 70% and the negative things are 30%

Why do you want the sonic character to be seen as kids so badly? /gen /nm

Because they ARE kids?

I have no issue with them being mature, saving the world, being the awesome characters they are, being serious when they need to be and stepping up simply because someone needs to.

But there is something so sweet and lovely when they do the little things that remind us of their age. Like Tails with his juice boxes amidst all his amazing tech. And Amy's silliness and enthusiasm amidst her powerhouse battle skills. And Sonic's playing video games and yelling "ECHOOO" into canyons because it sounds cool, amidst his street smart demeanor and heroic nature. I don't want them to be shown as kids in a derogatory way, a way that makes them dumber or incapable. I like it when they are shown as kids in ways that cannot be reconciled with an adult: the unfiltered joy, the shenanigans, the desires for hugs and affection, the times when they don't always do everything perfectly but they're still doing their best and it's endearing. They are oh so young, and they couldn't be more interesting because of it.

Sometimes I don't give the Sonic franchise enough credit on the story front, but this small detail makes me ILL.

I am obsessed with these signs in Radical Highway, which is Shadow's first regular level in SA2, and happens right before he meets Sonic.

The subtle storytelling and symbolism makes me SICK and I'm actually obsessed with these.

People should think about these more methinks

OK ANOTHER SONIC AU IDEA, PART 1

So like eggman right, we hate that guy but in this au tails HATES eggman with every fiber of his being, like this dude is his biggest hater and wishes sonic just puts him down for good, more so when eggman tortures sonic for six months

So after maybe sonic frontiers or forces sonic gets hurt by like a badnik and tails feels like that same little kid who watched his big brother almost die, so tails is done with eggmans shit and goes berserk, like this man goes and kills eggman with no mercy ( bonus points if he also tortures him for 6 months )

Sonic hears the news that eggman is really actually dead and he doesn't know how to act like does he feel free or does he feel worried that there's a new villain in town

So he tells tails about it and tails, the guy who killed eggman, is in heavy guilt not from killing eggman but for making his big bro so worried, so he gets the great idea of becoming sonic's NEW VILLAIN, that way he won't hurt sonic, in that sense, and sonic will know about the new villain and won't be worried and make it act like the new villain only wanted to kill eggman and no one else

But in his quest he see new villain wanting to hurt people and his brother so he say "well I've killed eggman so it's no problem that they go out to"

Keep thinking about an au where sonic the hedgehog is an ai made by tails when he was a lil kid and got really lonely

Tails probably read a book about a hero and wanted someone like that for him, ohhhh that book might be sonic the hedgehog and the black knight, after that he got obsessed with this sonic character

And well hes smart so he decided to leave his island because that's what sonic the hedgehog would have done and decided to make sonic into a real person

How would that go??? And IT WOULD BE THE CUTEST THING EVER IF HE SAW SONIC AS A FATHER FIGURE, like imagine tails talking to book sonic imagining that sonic was really there with him

I think in all these scenes in which nine is smiling, either sonic is there or nine is thinking about him, which make it so much more sad because this lil boy didn't have a single friend in his life and out of nowhere this blue guy says 'lil bro' and now he has a best friend, a brother and someone to live for, and that is just MHUA

WHOEVER SAID SONIC IS DUMB, COME FIGHT ME

Sonic is not dumb and I can prove it, in this pic sonic quite literally thought fast, he knows his strength, he knows that he can take a super badnik out and that he also has to deal with the other robots so he tells tails to deal with it cuz tails is the smart guy

Another thing is that he acts dumb so his enemies underestimate him, cuz if u put urself in sonic's enemies shoes, some blue guy who runs really fast and is just stupid, who wouldn't think getting rid of him is easy

And tails knows how smart sonic is because when he say that the attack was a lot more coordinate, he knows sonic is suspicious too but sonic acts like he isn't because of either 2 things, to act dumb so his enemies won't see him coming or because he doesn't want tails to worry (which I think is far more cuter) once he gets caught he loses his face and agrees with tails

and this is just a cute panel u wanted to share, also conforms my hc that sonic and tails have a point system on how many badniks they defeat in a week

I find it really cute that in half the fanfics I have read about tails past he is always thinking that sonic will leave him like everyone else and that no one loves him so why should sonic, he is so hurt and wants to have hope that sonic won't abandon him like his parents and is just a lil guy who wants to be loved and cared for, wants someone he can tell to about his inventions, when it storms he wants to have that someone he can confide in.

And then it's sonics pov and he's AWWWWW THIS LIL GUY IS SO CUTE, I MUST HAVE HIM, MY BABY BRO, MY LIL GUYYYY

Like sonic that is a traumatized kit, ok he's 4 and might have very bad mental issues that will last in all the sonic games and then some and then sonic like "yaaaaaaaaa is somebody gonna adopt that kit" and then not want for an answer, he's over here like "ok lil guy I'm ur big bro now, ur mine k, I probably have my own issues but we'll solve them together, u and me lil buddy"

And then it's back to tails pov and his thoughts are "why does this guy want me, I'm no one, I have two tails, he probably thinks I'm a freak" and then after wards he says I and they both have chill dogs.

Someone said in the reblogs about sonic , tails and knuckles being each others complementary colors AND THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE

THEY ARE A TRIANGLE , they make the primary team red, blue and yellow

Blue symbolizes the sky and the sea, they both are open spaces that represent freedom, the sky gives us a sense of direction and inspiration and the sea is the depth you can get lost in it

The yellow symbolizes joy , happiness and friendship, yellow is the sun the light bulb and and every thing sweet and kind, when u are lost bright things bring u a sence of direction, those things can be yellow

Red is obviously symbolized with war, hatred, aggression and love , red is blood and an apple, an apple gives us nutrients to live and blood can be mean both our life line or our demise

But if u look at wat the colors opposite represent

Blue is orange, meaning tails

Red is green, meaning the master emerald or the green of sonic's eyes

Yellow is purple, knuckles eyes and purple symbols mystery
