Over the past 4 days my mom has asked me 3 times “when is my 27 year old daughter going to find a boyfriend and get married and have children.” So I had to break her heart and told her, “do you remember how bad I was as a child? Do you know how controlling I am now? Do you think I want to run the risk of having kid that are as bad or worse than I was? No. I don’t.”

Needless to say her response was that she wants grandkids and that I need to get the hell over it. All I can say is that if she wants grandchildren so bad that she better start saving my future trip to the sperm bank.

Rant!

There are times that I really hate living with my brother, especially when it comes to paying bills. Ever since I started my job last year all MY money goes toward the bills, I never get to keep any of it for myself, but heaven forbid if my brother goes to work and gets paid I only receive half of his check for the bills... HALF! How is that even fair to me. He gets to fill his car up with gas so he can go do whatever he wants and I can't even remember the last time my car has even had over half a tank. For once I would just like to be able to go out and have a good time work my friends without them having to pay my way, or go shopping and get a new outfit. I don't know, I just don't think it's fair that I have to work 30-50 hours a week and have to spend all my money for the bills when he only works maybe 10 hours a week and only gives half. I'd kick him out and get a smaller apartment if I could but that would cause too much trouble for my family. This really sucks! Sorry about the rant, I just had to get this all of my chest.

Just a reminder that if you call a bakery wanting to order a cake and you want fondant on the cake please, for the love of God, do NOT call it fondue or fondo, us decorators won't laugh at you over the phone but we are known for sneaking in the correct pronunciation of the word FONDANT in the middle of a conversation and THEN after we get off the phone with you, will we possibly laugh at the fact that you thought it was a cheesy substance called fondue.

Completely unacceptable!!!

It is literally raining in my brothers bedroom right now.  We have been having problems with his window leaking since Mid-November.  After putting in a request, they sent 2 people to look at the window and one guy said "oh, well it probably won't leak anymore," after doing nothing but looking at it and the 2nd guy came in, put more caulk around it and said "that should work until they can get a contractor in to take a look at it."

Which is all well and good, if they were going to send a contractor (in which they clearly did NOT). But no, instead I got an e-mail stating that said window had been fixed.  But in reality it has not. Now we love our apartment and we love the area and community were in but this is fucking ridiculous. I don't pay $877 a month for it to rain in my brothers room every time I turn around.

Not only that but it is already causing damage, not only to the complex's building, but also to my brothers furniture.  Plus it's a health issue for both of us seeing as how his bed is right there by the window as well as an electrical outlet where he keeps his phone plugged in (thank God he was awake and unplugged it), and the fact that I have extremely sever indoor and outdoor allergies.  And what does water damage do when not taken care of properly? It causes mold to appear, which could make living in this lovely apartment, a living nightmare.

Hopefully they get this shit taken care of ASAP and if not, they better find me another apartment with the same priced rent or better because, like I said earlier, this is un-fucking-acceptable!

Rant Alert!!!

So I'm at my mom and dads house for the week helping them scrap out air conditioners when our neighbors new dog comes over and starts barking at us.  I've never seen this dog before but I know it's my neighbors based on what my parents told me.  So I'm looking at this dog noticing that it had a shock collar on because it tries to jump the fence (which means the collar isn't working) and well, since I have permission to go see another dog of theirs whenever I want, I decided I would try to win this dog over by giving it treats and try to take it back and put her back in their fenced in yard... WRONG!!!

This dog did NOT like me, she is the ONLY dog that I have ever met that does not like me.  Now every time I come to visit my parents I go next door to see my neighbors other dog (he's a 13 year old german shepherd chow mix) because he was always guarding our street from the bears until he ended up in a fight with a bull dog and since then he's been in the fenced in yard.  Anyways, when I went to the backyard to try to put this new dog back and visit with Smilin' Jack (the German/Chow mix), she tried to bite me!!! And when I tried to walk back to my house she barked and growled and if I turned around and payed no attention to her she would charge after me and try to bite me again.

Now the way I see it is if you have given someone permission to come over and visit with the animals and you have a new animal that you know is going to jump the fence and bark at other and is a potential threat to said neighbors, wouldn't you want to do something about that.  Not only that but when the dog got loose AGAIN today, my neighbor was coming after her saying "don't worry she won't bite", uuum yeah, she does.  This dog bit my parents employee AND not to mention tried to bite me several times yesterday.  Though, to be perfectly honest, she had never met me and I was in her yard.  But if you get a new dog and you don't tell your neighbor (who has permission to come over whenever) please inform said neighbor.

My dad has complained about this dog a couple times already and is at a loss. I just hope this gets settled soon and animal control doesn't have to get involved because I really don't want to be told that I can't go see Jack anymore.

The fact that Spotify has the RWBY vol.2 soundtrack has made my night. I know what I'm listening to on my 4 hour road trip tomorrow!!!

I am IMPATIENTLY waiting for Drrr X2 to show up online.  This week has been a big week for opening anime seasons and movies. First Psycho Pass then Tokyo Ghoul root A and now Durarara X2.

I still wish I could have seen the Psycho Pass movie. Guess its a good thing that I like spoilers!

I need advice!!!

I am trying to get my etsy page up so I can sell my paintings, wine glasses and windows. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to price the shipping.  I looked online to find out an average cost for shipping but none of the sites will tell me unless I have a destination zipcode. Plus most of my pieces, aside from my wine glasses, are fairly large.

One site that I went to suggested that I take my painting off the stretchers and put the painting in a shipping tube to lower the shipping cost unfortunately, it is not a stretcher that I made myself and I'm worried that if I take it off the stretcher that my painting will be destroyed.

If anyone has shipped large paintings or pieces of art and knows how to price the shipping, please I need advice.
