The Plastinarium
http://www.plastinarium.de/en/plastinarium_e/the_plastinarium_what_is_it.html
Inaugurated in 2006 by physician and inventor Gunther von Hagens, the Plastinarium resides in Guden/Bradenburg combines the “moving experience of seeing a a BODY WORLDS Exhibition with an opportunity to witness firsthand, and see some practically steps of Plastination.”
Plastination is a technique or process used in anatomy to persevere bodies or body parts where the body parts are replaced by certain plastics... This ultimately means that the yielding specimens can be touched without smell or the decay while retaining most properties of the original sample.

The Lost Gypsy Curios & Coffee
https://www.thelostgypsy.com/curios
Located on the Papatowai Highway out in Ouwaka Otago, lies a curious assortment of automata (defined as either a “moving mechanical device made in imitation of a human being” or “a machine which performs a range of functions according to a predetermined set of coded instructions”).
“The Lost Gypsy Gallery opened in 1999 inside an old Leyland house bus, which has undergone multiple transformations and at least 10 coats of paint.
Since then, Blair has obsessively filled the bus with his automata creations, donated curios and personal memorabilia.
A few years later, Blair widened his vision to include a seperate three-room theatre built and installed behind the bus. It opened in 2008 and features larger, more experimental pieces.
From roadside to the theatre, you will find an assortment of interactive automata and rustic sculptures that will have you chortling in no time.”
There are so many different weird and wonderful gizmos and gadgets made from found objects from all over the place that the people visiting are able to interact with and explore.

The Museum of Lost & Found Potential
https://www.theguardian.com/society/2019/oct/09/the-museum-of-lost-and-found-potential-putting-faces-to-mental-health-statistics
https://www.gospeakyourmind.org/museum
This museum of curated pieces from people all over the world that suffered/are suffering from mental health issues revealed the stark and powerful “picture of potential” that is lost for so many different people, families, communities, businesses and societies due to the crippling nature of mental health and suicide.
“The museum was created by Speak Your Mind - the nationally driven, globally united campaign that wants everyone, everywhere to have the mental health support they need, in partnership with HSBC.”
This museum featured 16 different interactive portraits of people from around the world that revealed to us their struggle, loss, pain, trials and tribulations.
“Through video, sound, and real and imagined artefacts, visitors were transported to lost and found chapters in the lives of the people whose stories were told in the museum. People lost to suicide and their loved ones were also featured.”

This item pictured above belongs to someone named Allison. This turntable setup represents the dreams she had of making music for a living but was unable to due to financial difficulties that she faced due to spending her money on medical drugs for her mental health. “All other parts of her life were lost to the expense of getting better.”

This interactive item/experience stems from that of Cecilia Ashaley, a Ghanaian teacher. The wall of nail varnish is presented to mimic the form of the west African sky, because whenever she is struggling with her mental health her go-to is to seek out a relaxing pedicure and/or manicure.
