so my apartment building got a notice board to post fire alarm tests and maintenance announcements and such. the building is pretty well-maintained, so we rarely get notices. the board is big and grey and to think it would be empty like that 99% of the time was a bland boring sin i just couldn't bear, so i vandalized the corner of its empty canvas with a teeny tiny Guy
and within a few days, there was a sudden addition from my one of my neighbors along with a Bunch of thumbtacks. this was an unexpected, but welcome surprise!
well there was still so much space, i figured i'd add another crumb to the art hoard. i'd been playing genshin that day so i drew my favorite grandpa
and like clockwork, new art manifested!! this person is gonna grow to be a great artist i know it. the detail in those stones? hell yeah that's cool.
we're two weeks into it. more neighbors have joined in with their artwork. who knew there were so many artists in my building?? we're onto somethin great here i just know it.

Love how I have to actively and carefully skim a blog before deciding to reblog a post because I find out the poster& is (often very vocally and grossly) anti endogenic.
I dunno how to tell you that we're all in this together. That endogenics (or any other system type) are just as human as you are despite your vitriol towards them. You being hateful to another person& just because you won't take the time to learn about something won't make us look better to singlets.
Nothing will make us look normal to singlets. Because we aren't existing to be palatable towards them, or anyone. We're existing for ourselves. Or we should be.
Look at these beliefs that singlets themselves have drilled into your head and unlearn them. They don't want any of us to exist, let alone the types of systems they put in diagnostic criteria that isn't accurate anyway. Stop being insensitive and ableist for all of us. ☘️

You are not called cringe because you're fake! You're called cringe because you're real!
I have a confession to make. We're fakers.
When we're in public, we fake like we're a singlet. I fake when I front and remain silent when I'm called someone else's name. When I pretend it doesn't hurt me every time I'm misgendered. We fake when we omit details about our inner lives when talking to the few singlets we do trust enough to share with because we're afraid they will mock or judge us.
We fake and pretend all the time.
If you're reading this, there's a good chance that you're fakers like us.
You lie and pretend and omit and mask. And that's okay. You know that being out to the wrong people can destroy relationships. It can get you fired from your job. It can make you a pariah. You lie and pretend out of love for your system, to protect yourselves and those you care about. And that is nothing to be ashamed of.
But remember that these are the moments when you're lying.
You are not called cringe when you pretend so you can conform and fit in. You are not called cringe when you mask as a singlet. You are not called cringe when you lie and invalidate yourselves to keep your secret.
You are called cringe when you are real.
You are called cringe because you are honest and true to yourselves.
You are called cringe because you are brave enough to take off the mask. Even if only in certain spaces.
You called cringe when you are proud of who you are.
You face hate because you love yourselves.
Do not fear being called cringe. Wear it as a badge of honor. They attack you because you represent something new, something they don't understand. Because you took a chance in being your real self instead of hiding who you are.
Remember that the actions that others call "cringe" today will pave the way to make the systems of tomorrow feel safe and secure in being who they are. By being brave and strong and real, by putting yourself out there and trusting, you are helping to secure a future where no system needs to fake or pretend ever again.
Thank you for being you!
