I was explaining to my straight friend that I like that with Thai GLs most of them have a happy ending which means I don't have to worry when I'm watching them.
She said it's would be boring to her to always have a happy ending because it's not realisitic.
I said to her but for most queer media, usually all we get is sad endings, and it's tiring to always watch shows and not know if a stray bullet is just around the corner, so I'm quite happy to know a happy ending is coming so I can enjoy the show.

This is surprising. For the longest time, Aioon was miserable because Oaboom always seem to be everyone's favourite, including their Grandmother. Aioon envied her twin because she always shines.
Then we get to Oaboom's pov and learn that the ONLY reason she shines is because she keeps following Aioon's footsteps. She also wanted to be loved so she did what she can to the best of her ability.
Yet despite her successes, she still looks at Aioon and still feel jealous over the notion that 'everyone loves Aioon' (guess this was hinted in the flashbacks where Aioon is clearly a jokester and an extrovert surrounded by friends who laughs with her although the audience knows it was Aioon's defence mechanism since she's already feeling inferior to Oaboom's academic successes).
Where did the twins go wrong? How did the barrier get there? I know there wasn't anymore backstories on how the grandmother raised them but I still blame it on that incident in the funeral when she chose to only comfort Oaboom and essentially ignored Aioon. 😓
