y’know the really funny thing is that i’ve always liked doctor who - in fact, i can honestly say that it’s one of my favourite worlds to spend time in.  truly it is.

but i have never, never, never felt like i do with jodie playing the doctor.  i cannot remember the last time i enjoyed something so completely, the last time i fell in love with a character so utterly. i’ve been getting closer and closer to it, i think, with stories like wonder woman & ocean’s eight, but not like this.

and now i’m just thinking - is this the world men live in?  seeing such brilliant, eccentric, extraordinary characters on their screens and feeling this … this sense of euphoria?  is that what’s been missing all this time?

anyway the thirteenth doctor has, in two episodes, made my entire goddamn year.  i cannot wait to see what the coming episodes have to give us.
