If I may, there is no such thing as a perfect result. As Viktor said, perfection is only an end to pursuit. There are ways to make your colour pens/pencile more effective and it all really just comes down to blending the different colours you have got together.

I recommend Marc Brunet on youtube for learning colour theory very easily. While he may primarily teach digital art, the principles apply the same in traditional art.

I was upset by my inability to color my own drawings; no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t achieve the perfect result.

Maybe it's time to switch to felt-tip pens?🖍️

LOL... An original character I designed who is meant to be Shadow Company's new benefactor following General Shepherd's death. She is both a businesswoman and a brigadier general from the Finnish army who is currently employing Shadow Company's services and entered contract as their new benefactor to hunt remaining Konni cells across the globe and fund them during said campaing. That is her basic premise.
