If you could be financially successful in any business, what type of business would you want to start?

I think museums count as businesses because you still have to have the people come to them? I would like to make a Red History Museum.

I think that is probably more of a green thing but I could maybe find someone who would like to collaborate and there’s probably something involved in that that I could do without it being OOCI.

We could have exhibits on red art and life in red districts around the world, and twice a year host an authentic Splurge because no one can agree if that’s a summer or winter thing.

1/2 Hi, you don't know me but I just wanted to let you know your blog is what convinced me that ex-reds are just normal people. You have wrong opinions about ice cream but they're the kind of wrong opinions other people have. You like pretty things. You have compassion for other people and I've realized that your support for reds is also out of some kind of compassion/empathy which is why I'm sending this ask. You presumably remember being red (I'm sorry if that's a very painful subject). Do

2/2 reds have feelings? I mean in a very broad sense, not necessarily like you and I do. Did things feel good or bad to you? Were you ever afraid or content? Are there things that affect reds' feelings, if they have them? For example, if one has to be put down, should we kill the whole family so they don't miss them? Of course I understand if you never want to remember being red and don't want to answer. Regardless, I thought you'd like to know the difference you've made.

Yes, reds have feelings. Before decontamination I grieved when my parents died and I was happy when I spent time with my cousin and I cried when Biyan happened and I was thrilled when Shasali Aven’s new caste was announced and I was terrified when a certain murderous blue sent me messages and I loved my friends and family. Every year my district would celebrate with food and light and color on the darkest week of winter, and I looked forward to Splurge for all of fall and the first half of winter. 

So, yes, reds have feelings, and the things that cause those feelings to change are pretty predictable. We grieve for the same things cleans grieve over; we’re happy about the same things cleans are happy about; we celebrate in our districts with light and food; we’re afraid when we’re threatened and relieved when the threat is gone. 

Reds live in danger, and they know that, we knew that - it’s why Miolee is such a gift, because it represents somewhere that ex-reds don’t have to be in danger anymore, it’s a place where we can flourish like anyone else - but find me a red who has never lost anyone they care about and I’ll find you someone under the age of three.If one member of a clean family died, would you kill the rest so they didn’t have to grieve? Of course not. Other people would grieve the family, and even Met doesn’t have chain executions for all its executions.
