Yeah I miss you too bud whoever you are but I’m currently locked out of my account and I can’t come back until I’ve finished the 「thing」 !! Unfortunately I’ve been very busy these past few months which is why it’s taking so damn long. Hopefully it’s done before EB’s anniversary (or at least not on the same day… that’d be pretty awkward) but I can’t guarantee it… 😔

P.S. please don’t get your hopes up about the 「thing」, the last thing I’d want is to dissapoint anyone so just imagine it as a bunch of SD shitposts ok 👍 don’t expect anything grand.

Alright, answer discussions as promised:

A tape titled “Smoking Gun” appears twice <- this… is true!

You can see it at 7:13 and 24:42 of SD, though you’re gonna have to do some zooming in to see them clearly… Other titles include “CZARFACE: THE MOVIE”, “BRIGHTON ROCK LIVE”, “3”, “What is toast”, and… EB, which oddly uses different cases in each instance.

09 can lift a Heavy with one hand <- this is… canon.

12:07 of SD… yeah look I’m just as confused as you are.

There are at least two references to the band Queen <- this is… true!

The first one is the red guitar seen at 6:06, which is literally just Brian May’s Red Special in SFM form, and the second one is the previously mentioned “BRIGHTON ROCK LIVE” tape. Brighton Rock is a song of theirs that’s famously known for its more-than-3-minute guitar solo. What a presumably live recording of a song released in 1974 is doing there with all the other tapes is a mystery. (No it isn’t.)

BLU Engineer has the highest onscreen kill count (killing off for real, I mean) <- this is… false. Sadly.

While it’s true that he managed to kill 7 Snipers and 1 Spy (which is 8 in total), he still doesn’t beat Dell’s record of 9 kills. (And this is only counting what was shown onscreen!)

Super excited about the implications of that image but haven't seen much discussion about this, so I'll try to get the ball rolling:

With the hints of Ms. Pauling showing up in a potential prequel/sequel to Emesis Blue, I wonder what sort of role she'll play and how similar or different she'll be to the original character? Archibald basically filled the role of the Administrator in the movie, keeping the Gravel Wars going for eternity through any means necessary (even if their motives are different). So does Pauling work for Archibald in this universe, or does she still work for the Administrator and is a sort of liaison between the two? Plus, how aware is she of the Respawn Machine and it's less than pleasant side affects on the mercs?

But also what about the other characters from the Team Fortress universe and the roles they could play in this universe?!

The Administrator would fit in just fine as she is in this universe, I think!

And with his brothers killed towards the end of the movie, it's the perfect time for Gray Mann to come in during a sequel; perhaps he recovers the Respawn Machine from the remains of the Slaughter House and starts the nightmare all over again, intentionally or unintentionally reviving certain characters in the process!

Then there's the Classic Team who could be working with Gray in hopes of gaining eternal life via the Respawn Machine (unaware or uncaring of the side affects).

Imagine Zhanna coming to America searching for her "missing" brother, meeting Jane and falling in love... and then the drama from realising he killed her brother.

And then there's these guys!
