I think the scene that best describes them is in Pre-Nuptial when they‘re in the boat and Roman offers them weed and Shiv goes no I have shit to do, and Ken goes I have shit to do, too and then Kendall says yeah okay give me the joint and Shiv snags it away before he can take it even thought she just said she didn’t want it. We have to be in competition 24/7, and whatever you have I want but as soon as we‘re actually on other sides and don’t have each other to lean on, we‘re completely lost. You know. It’s about how when Rhea fucks over Shiv in 2x7 the first person she calls on the plane is Kendall. Like it‘s about the fact that Kendall never so much as brings up the 3x2 insult tirade to Connor or Roman but he does try and apologize (albeit it. Badly and horribly so) to shiv. And that when they all hate him after the bear hug attempt, he knows he can ask her to take care of him and she will (albeit. badly so). But they try.

Think about why you love your friends. What comes to mind first? It probably isn't things like "I love how they have a job" or "I love how they get good grades." Instead you might be thinking about their compassion, their sense of humor, their perspective, their passion, their values, their mindset/attitude or their intelligence. Also apparently my brain won’t shut up today but:

JKR’s new book announcement should not surprise you. It should not shock you. And I don’t mean that like, oh she’s been racist and horrible before so this is nothing new.

No. I mean that this is 100% intentional and reactionary. This is in direct response the backlash she got for being transphobic trash. She’s doing this because she’s digging her heels in and doubling down on her bullshit. This is PR 101, causing outrage to get people to pay attention to her.

So what we are not going to fucking do is give this woman a single fucking penny. We’re not giving her the fucking time of day. I do not want to see discourse posts in however many months’ time when the book comes out. There doesn’t need to be discourse because we fucking know already that it’s trash. This book and this author need to die with a whimper.
