I love this article because I’ve had this problem my whole life, and I can totally relate to ALL OF THIS (along with others who can relate). Plus, it’s appropriate for what I’m about to say. Someone asked me if I was having a bad day at work today, and I was like,”UHHHMM, no...I’m not having a bad day,” while I actually wanted to say that I have R.B.F (but I didn’t want to get in trouble for swearing). I must of embarassed her because she didn’t say anything after that. So yeah. This is the second time since I’ve started working that someone has pointed out my “chronic bitch face”. It’s really annoying.

So I was at work today for my fourth day of training (where I’m working gives you two weeks of training, unlike where I used to work beforehand), and I was working in the ‘10 items or less’ lane. Well, there was one guy who came through, and he asked me if he could come into my lane  -- (despite having over 10 items -- and I said yes, thinking he must of had just 15 items or a little more. NO. That wasn’t the case. He had around 20 items or more, which was my mistake since I didn’t see it until it was too late. 

A couple hours later, I was ringing up some items for someone, and I was letting them pay for what they had gotten. Well, as soon as I turned around, this woman had MORE than 10 items on the entire conveyor belt. I was like, “Ah, crap,” because there was nothing I could do about it, and I couldn’t just tell her to go into another lane that wasn’t a 10 items or less lane. So I had to ring up everything as fast as I could since I didn’t want to piss off the other customers behind her (I really thought it would never end with all the things she had for her kid’s school stuff). THEN she had a divider for her other items, and I just wanted to sigh at her in exasperation, and then say, “It’s a 10 item or less lane. Read the sign. Just because I don’t have anybody in my lane doesn’t mean you can come in with a full cart. Go into another lane and just wait like everybody else do you don’t hold up the lane meant for a different purpose.”

It makes me really upset that Misha was mugged in Minneapolis, especially since I live about an hour away from there and that it happened in general. It shouldn’t happen to anybody, though, and I’m hoping the three guys who muggged and beat up Misha are caught.

So yesterday morning at my receptionist job at a spa, I told a client about a VIP package that can either last to 6 months or 12 months and that it costs about $55 (around $70 or more if they upgrade to 90 minutes for massage). About two hours after I got off of work early, they complain to my manager saying that I had told them that I had said that they could only book their appointments within a span for 4 months while they could have the package for about 10 years and that I had also said that it cost $70 every month. This was my train of thought, and what I actually (and accidentally) blurted out when my manager called to tell me all of this: 

Let’s just say I was very confused by it while at the same time wanting to say that the client isn’t always right..especially when it came to what they had just said.

If I had this while going to school, it would have helped me out soo much, especially when I needed to move around when I was in class.
