I love how at New York Comic Con (before dropping the movie trailer) at the question “what comes next? What are you guys up to now this is almost over?” Elise is like

“oh you wait girl”

If you follow me and you say things like:

“Natasha is so in love with Elise wtf.”

“Natasha obviously has feelings for her.”

“Natasha deffo likes her, she’s not that good an actress.”

Let me tell you why these statements aren’t okay.

Natasha is a queer actor who had the gall to be open and candid about her non-heterosexuality when she was probably terrified of what that would mean for her commercial viability. I can guarantee you, she would have had people telling her that being open about being LGBT would be a mistake.

Comments like the above are absolutely derived from the notion of her queerness whether you want to accept it or not. When you imply, or you see posts implying, that Natasha isn’t a good enough actress and the range she shows in a scene comes directly from her attraction to her co-star, imagine how you would feel if you had to look her in the eye and read that aloud to her.

Imagine how you would feel if a straight person implied that your talent, your hard work, your passion was somehow overshadowed by your sexuality.

Oh wait, you probably don’t have to imagine it because it’s something we’ve all experienced.

I’m not trying to say that thinking Natasha and Elise would be adorable together is an innately bad thing, but when the focus is always on Natasha having feelings for Elise we have a responsibility to treat that woman with the due respect she deserves as a member of our community and call it out.

Please support Carmilla the Movie. If you can't afford to buy the bundle now or if you have no access to a credit card, ask the creampuffs community for help. They're there for you. Hundreds of bundles have already been donated from creampuffs to other creampuffs. Check @honestlynatalie 's Tumblr for more infos on this initiative. Let's do the right thing and use this an opportunity to show how great and generous our fandom is, instead of damaging the creators of the show we all love

Please stop leaking the Carmilla the Movie bundle

Please STOP leaking the bundle and REMOVE the existing posts with pics or videos from it.

I understand that we are all thrilled about the bundle, and we would like to share it immediately with al the creampuffs, but doing so we are damaging the movie and the entire crew. We love them and they have given us so much through the years, all for free.

But now they NEED the money of the bundles to give us the amazing movie they promised us. Posting pictures and videos from the bundle people should pay to see is disrespectful towards the work of Natasha, Elise and all the crew behind this wonderful show. Leaking that content sabotages the movie, and it’s against our own good.

I know there are people who haven’t got a credit card to purchase the bundle or don’t have the money. You could try to give the money to someone who owns a credit card and can purchase it for you, or if can’t afford it you can ask someone here to send you a video privately (that would reduce the damage) or you could wait until after the fundrising is over when I would be more ok to post pictures and videos from the bundle.

But please, stop leaking the bundle, it’s against everyone’s good.
