Classes where finished and Yusuke took the subway to make it to his designated location. Kitagawa had made sure to have enough money for the bus fare and the amount to enter the planetarium. He was suppose to meet Mishima to see the the stars and solar system.

Akira had arranged his meeting to get to know someone outside the Phantom Thieves. The artist saw this as a good opportunity to explore a different type of interaction. It excited him to think that he was going to discover a side of the world he had yet to see.

The person was looking at the yarn so intensely, could it be that he is looking for a gift for a loved one? Perhaps he was sent by someone to purchase some yarn? The artist at first was rather hesitant to approach him, but seeing as the blonde might have needed his help, he must to walk up to him.

“Ah. hello there.”

Yusuke dropped the basket he held from his elbow to his right hand. He closed onto Kanji casually, his keys jingling as he walked, making his presence known. 

“Could you be in need of some assistance?”

Exhausted from working on his project the other day, Yusuke could barely stay awake to lend an ear to his teachers. Thankfully, none of his teachers had called on him to give a response. All day he thought of his friends. The artist was grateful to have such wonderful friends after Madarame was placed under arrest. Kitagawa may have turned into a completely different person if he did not have his friends or if he continued to follow down the path he walked.

He let out a yawn as he walked towards his school gates to wait for a friend. Ryuji had sent him a text message to wait by the gates, the former track star told him it was urgent. The matter left him puzzled. What could be so important that Sakamoto needed to come all the way to his place of study. His mind lingered for moments more before he saw the other boy running towards him.

Even if it feels cliched just a little, Akira presents some art supplies that he bought for Yusuke's birthday. "I paid a little extra for these but I hope you can use them for your paintings sometime. Happy birthday".

Yusuke appeared to be at a loss for words after receiving the supplies he needed to finalize his current project he had been working on for weeks. The trickster was his saving grace. He took a good look at them to see that Kurusu bought items from his favorite brands. It was as if the leader knew him for years and knew exactly what he would desire.

A soft pink subtilely displayed itself on his countenance.

No, not only that, no one other than Madarame had presented him with a gift. Even then, he only received one item from his caretaker… Akira had spent so much for the artist. Overjoyed by how thoughtful he was, acting on his rush of emotion, Kitagawa quickly but gently wrapped his arms around the shorter of the two. Something he never thought to do with anyone.

“Thank you for the gifts…this means so much coming from you. I-I am forever grateful.”

a mind clouded with despair and crestfallen from what his world looked like. tired of having had pretended to be in the perfect home where everything was honest and pure, ignorant to the ordeal happening before his very eyes. fed up with the person he once admired, madarame, who raised him. yusuke was disgusted with the evil man who was motivated by a slip of green tinted paper.

yet here he was, smiling and greeting the admirers of the corrupted adult. the artist unluckily volunteered to help out the exhibition before opening his eyes to the bigger picture. yusuke was tasked with security measures, making sure no one was going to steal one of “madarame’s” paintings.

after hours of watching the the floor, he noticed a person, donning red curly hair. the red locks captivated him. such a beautiful color was quite rare. unconsciously the male seeked out the person and reached out to touch their shoulder. “Hello, may I have a moment with you please?”

shelves were filled with beautiful sets of art supplies, and eager young creators were collecting happily collecting items on their lists. the brightly light up store had everything an artist could desire. if heaven had an appearance, this store would be it.

the journey to the location was always so expensive. yusuke kitagawa stopped by looking for new paint and a few canvases for his paintings. yet something, no someone caught the student’s eye, a person with the impression of being a delinquent holding soft pink yarn. before he knew it, yusuke was staring at the other.

it was only two days since the phantom thieves leader departed their location. sad as it was to see akira go, but he had a family to return to. although he left physically, the group chat still buzzed with tons of notifications. from plans to spend breaks together to going out on daily activities. it seemed that the bonds they all forged could not be broken so easily.

today’s date, monday, ryuji and yusuke planned to meet by the train station to past by LeBlanc for a cup of coffee. the scenery, breathtaking, skies of baby blue and no clouds to cover the beautiful shade on this fine day. the artist was looking forward to seeing the former track star. ryuji was going to give him insight on the pleasure of youth. the idea of learning from someone else excited him. only a few more minutes until he would the other to show up.
