Being Black

I have cried, I have raged, I have sat in silence…my heart breaks for everyone who is a victim of police brutality.  As a black man, who had to fight hard to get where I am.  I am disgusted that in  our “GREAT” country of America, we are seeing innocence slaughtered for complying and minding their own business.  I am scared, I am hurt, and I weep for those who were shot for no damn reason.  As a cop, you have a responsibility to protect the people!  Don’t give me that shit that you felt unsafe, your job is being in unsafe situations. No, instead, these cops are acting out of assumptions and ignorance, then cry victim when the bullet is in the person and a lifeless body remains.   If you do not see the injustice, then you need to  unfollow  me and fast.  I will not tolerate ignorance, for it is not bliss, it is blindness.  I no longer feel safe.  I made sure I reached out to all my family, because they were worried about me.  To everyone, I mean everyone, we got to do better here.  There is too much blood on the streets of America, and I just pray that we can have some sort of peace.  Stay safe everyone, do not assume, and love. That’s all I have!!!
