I know human-made pokemon can be controversial but it's so cute seeing porygons using the web as their home. Human created pokemon that aren't from our waste, but from our love of connection and technology.

Can the Porygon line run Doom?

from a software perspective? sure. it's simple enough. my sibling has programmed their lab's porygon to be able to run through doom, and it's pretty good at it! porygon programmers have been running doom on them since silph first developed the porygon project

the easiest way to do this is to upload a porygon onto a computer and then run the program with the porygon interfacing it, but you can also run the game natively in the porygon. you'll have to either hook the porygon up to a screen or mod it to visualize whatever program it's running on its eye screens if you want to see what's going on, though.

it can also be healthy to get them OUT of the device sometimes!! regularly making sure your Porygon or Rotom get out of their devices and "stretch their legs" can be very good for them!! this is also a good safety check to make sure they CAN safely get out!

a PSA for all of those who have a Porygon, Rotom, or similar Pokemon that inhabits technology or can otherwise stimulate themselves!

make absolutely sure that they are getting enough stimulation, because just being inside of a computer or phone of sorts isn't enough! they need to know what to do, what they can do! and these Pokemon tend to be a bit more on our level when it comes to intelligence. teach them how to play games! card games or other similar single player games. my Porygon, Gadget, loves a mock version of the Voltorb Switch they have in the Goldenrod Game Corner!

hello hello, my name is Radio, and welcome to the official blog for the Frayaire Artificial Pokemon Sanctuary!

we at the sanctuary focus on the rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, and adoption of artificially created Pokemon, and other Pokemon who have been largely influenced by humans!

our focus tends to be on Porygon and Rotom, but we're willing to take any Pokemon that fits our guidelines into our sanctuary. this can include Pokemon such as Golette and Voltorb!

we also are working towards advocating for certain laws to be passed regarding artificially created Pokemon, defining what abuse of them looks like, and other such important laws for care of these Pokemon!

our mascot, and the avatar of this blog, is my Porygon in particular - Gadget!
