The bunny witch took the drone, put it in a corner and covered it with a spell. She wouldn't be able to stay here long so she hoped that Barara would be here soon. Artemis was in danger, she was going to be trialed for treason, and as soon as the platform would be done artemis would be trialed.

So she waited there, until something happened, until she felt someone breach the forests perimeter, until her bunnies told her about any strange person that smelled like Artemis.

Artemis hadn't given any sign of life in days, if not weeks. It was unusual for the girl that made sure to always remind her sister she was safe.

But today a letter had been left for Barbara, a worn out, yellowed, enveloppe with a bunny wax seal pressed on it and neat green handwriting spelling her full name.

It came from Artemis coven, the same runes she wore around her wrist written on it. Artie had taught Babs that they meant "the coven of the forest"

The bunny witch lead her to a small house, quite old and dirty, in a secluded place of the village. She walked in and opened one of the windows for the drone to get it, making sure she knew the window was open.

When she came inside, she walked into another room, leaving the door open. Inside she kneeled in front of another woman, she looked tried and barely conscious, hits and dirt all over her. The bunny lifted her face with care, giving her some water and turning the face towards the drone.

To Barbara's surprise, the woman was wearing a fox mask, fiery red curls untied and uncared for falling over it. If ever she hadn't understood who the girl was, the bunny signed her name, hoping that Barbara knew American sign language. "A-R-T-E-M-I-S." The witch wanted to help her.

Artemis hadn't given any sign of life in days, if not weeks. It was unusual for the girl that made sure to always remind her sister she was safe.

She finds a small village, hidden well withing the depths of the forest. Many witches walked around, mask on their faces. They were all animals. There was even a bunny one.

They were preparing something in the middle, a platform. There wasn't anything that could indicate it's use yet. The bunny witch looked up, seeing the drones. She looked straight into the camera and out of the blue dropped her things and started walking. She hoped Barbara would understand and follow her.

The letter had few written words, but they were written in the same neat green handwriting.

"the coven has retrieved what belonged to them. The fox failed her mission. She's still alive, for now. Beware as she's not the only pawn. They will send more. I cannot tell you where we are, but if you want her back you'll be able to locate us. Find the fox, and free her from us, I beg you, they don't belong here."

Some letters seemed written over a few times, spelling a message. "We live in the blac forest.". Artemis used to talk about some woods, outside of Gotham, where no one dared enter because supposedly spirits lived in it. The trees were so dense there was nothing but shadow in it. The black forest.

She was making her way to the location, quick, easy, and silent.

Ah, another or this, but this was far way too personal and she's actually worried about the things getting out of hand because not being capable of maintaining a cook in this.

She didn't had that much rest trying to investigate and comprobing the information. Barbara doesn't want to risk this, as anything really. But for some reason it felt more complicated this time.

She spoke for both of them in the comms. This was the favor she talked about with her sibling, this was the mission she talked with Wade. She would explain later in the aftermath. Specially to Artemis.

And really this was stressing her out.
