So I think it is fair to say the AI generated images are very much about what it means currently to be digital. While we are not going into the code in this class I imagine that their might be ways for you, as artists, to dig into these types of images. Clearly you’d have to do more than just use the out put of their pertained data bases. You can not just present their images. Here is another, you can play with.

Moving into the realm of pure digital. This person does not exist displays AI generated portraits. Trained on faces these are not composite but complete a function of machine learning. Since the backgrounds structurally vary more that the aspects of the face they are the regions that are most likely to reveal the synthetic nature of the image —as seen here.
