The first time this came across my dash, maybe two weeks ago, I had a sore in my mouth and started poking at it. And since then I kept thinking it was there and feeling the general vibes of having a gum sore and assuming that it would be there to poke. But yesterday I tried to bother it with my tongue and it turned out to have healed without my noticing. This is also something that happens with bad memories!

A good thing you can do with an ulcer or other painful sore inside your mouth is to keep pressing your tongue against it to make it hurt more, or even bother it with your teeth for some reason. You can do a similar thing with bad memories!

The reason your brain feels shitty when you don't shower is bc the human body remembers its humble origins as a protovertebrate aquatic worm that breathed through its skin so when your pores get clogged the worm part of your brain thinks you're suffocating and gets scared. Going into the wet regularly helps keep your worm brain calm and happy bc it keeps your skin clean and also simulates the worm's natural environment of the old mid-cambrian ocean. Every single armor in Veilguard is ugly as sin but I love them all because I don’t have to sell 50 bullshit armor pieces I won’t use every time I go back to Skyhold and they’re not constantly telling me to use a garbage crafting system that makes even unique armor pointless . I do not want custom legs. I do not want custom arms. I definitely do not want sigils (the trade-offs in the custom weapons/armor in Veilguard are better because they are themed)

The economy in Veilguard actually works? I was still saving up money for purchases in the endgame because I wasn’t constantly accumulating money by trying to keep my inventory reasonable.

Any travel advice site will tell you to travel like a local, but honestly you should local like a traveller. Go out with wide eyes and curiosity. Visit museums and parks and art galleries, try out the overpriced but highly rated restaurants that only tourists visit, take photos and video, stop to read those heritage information signs, treat yourself to an ice cream on a hot day. Don't let tourists be the only ones who take joy in your home.
