Just a few thoughts... if not a few rants... I wanted to take out ever since the 7th book

ok lets start with this that was cut from the film at the end, it’s a small moment but Harry shows both how he can stop her powerful personality just with a wave of his hand and how he tries to reassure her with a small wink, because he would never just abandon her even as to go the upper floor of a bloody house, he wants to make sure that they will be alright (even if it’s proven they are not) he wants to show her he’s there for her like she was there for him moments before during their visit in the graveyard….

1st let me remind you that the script and the movie in general was approved by jkr so here we are: I’M NOT MAKING EXCUSES FOR HOW I ACTED…. so stop with the shit of being the locket the reason for Ron’s ways… for Ron’s attitude… even HE knows he was a total asshole, even he knows he shouldn’t have abandoned them…. so I think we have the excuse of the locket floored here….

now now now… Ron listens to his greatest fears and even if Harry tries to show him in some way that the locket is not right, the horcrux can SEE in Ron’s heart…. Harry can’t… Ron is the person closest to hhr yet his greatest fear is that they will open their eyes and realize what they had been missing… and it proves it to him by telling him exactly what he believes….

I KNEW I WAS RIGHT WHEN I WAS READING DH!!!! IT’S BEEN YEARS AGO THAT I READ IT (ONLY ONCE BUT I NOTED ALL THE MOMENTS I NEEDED) AND HERE IT IS!!!! THE MOMENT RON PIVOTS TOWARDS HARRY IN HIS FURY… A romione friend of mine had told me that I hadn’t read that correctly that she didn’t recall Harry being actually afraid of his life when Ron raised the sword… yet here we are again, Ron -for moments- thinks of hurting Harry….. and he finally hits the horcrux and you know what moment comes after that? what Harry is PUSHED to say because he can see that Ron could even reach the point of murder?

She’s like a sister to me……  you have an onlychild saying this…

This is my greatest proof that the canon pairings were made up like that because of the darkness of the war, because of the circumstances, because of the rules set by how the war turned them to behave… Harry knows that he needs to somehow calm Ron down… and he has no other way to show him that… even if JKR didn’t show us the times of hhr alone in detail (as if she was afraid to expose these weeks), we saw in the movie her approved version of it and you remember what we saw? a couple working in harmony, we saw tenderness, we saw compassion, we saw care, forgivness and even the option of just abandoning everything and growing old together… and love and temptation (for the idiots who try to persuade us that there is no romance) but the moment Ron is back, the rules are back, the game is set again and they must move as they are commaded to like before, the pieces must move back to their places, hiding the truth from their very eyes… 

this is also proved by the book when we learn that Hermione has black bags under her eyes showing that she spent day and night watching after Harry while he was sick and asleep by Nagini’s bite….

James Potter did NOT answer the door without his wand on Halloween 1981.

- In Ch 17 of Deathly Hallows, we see from Voldemort’s POV through the window of the cottage.

- James was playing with Harry on the sofa in the sitting room when Lily came in the room and collected him for bed. He left his wand on the sofa to follow her and Harry upstairs.

- Voldemort waited until they were out of the main room to blow open the door and rush inside.

- James sprinted down the hallway at the noise and was immediately attacked. One Killing Curse and he was struck down. Having his wand was unlikely to have helped him much. He didn’t even know that the Fidelius Charm had fallen.

- Voldemort KNEW that James didn’t have his wand. He saw him toss it on the sofa before leaving the room!

- James yelled a warning from the hallway to Lily rather than run for his wand, or his life.

He CHOSE to yell a warning to Lily in those last precious seconds.
