I do love that Altair is how we are introduced to the world of assassin’s creed but ngl i do think it would have been funnier if we played as him after Ezio cause like. Objectively. Ezio revers this man, almost worships, he respects Altair so soo much. And like. We all know what Altair was like, even with all his character growth Altair has the temperament of a particularly mean and proud and well bred cat that could go on shows but won’t cause of its personality and will claw your eyes out when it has the chance. Can you imagine playing three games and revering Altair and then playing the first one and suddenly this revered Master is the bratties man you have ever met? Absolute perfection

it does actually make sense, to me, that you would feel a little safer as them, (and also, i relate a lot) because despite them being traumatized and having been through so much shit, they actually developed ways to cope. they know how to fight, and how to fight /back/. they are not super heroes but they learned their skills to the point that they can deal with their fears, nightmares, shitty past, current struggles, and i feel like that's what so- safe about them. idk if /i/ am making sense rn but yea.

basically they are not helpless when they face their hardships. and idk about you but i often do feel helpless facing my own.

i definitely feel the same way about that last part n yeah it does make sense, u perfectly put it into words :')

i had to think for a while to answer this but maybe ezio or jacob ? 😭 idk they're just really cool n i know all of the assassins r deeply traumatized but i feel like id be a little safer as them, does that even make sense
