A quick check of the maps app on his phone told him quickly where Dorsia’s was, and Lionel was already waiting in a smart 3-piece suit with dark colours and silvery grey accents upon it as he looked to his watch.

Arno arrived wearing gray suede button-down shirt. Dorsia’s was bustling with deep pockets as much as ever. He quickly spotted his new acquaintance Lionel. “I see you found the place with relative ease. Let’s head in.” Arno said.

Dinah finally turned up after she took a moment or so to get her motorcycle warmed up. She took the helmet off the back of the motorcycle, throwing it to him. “Stick that on.” Dinah said before she put the visor down on her own helmet. “And hold on tight and don’t vomit.”

Arno caught it with both hands. The excitement filled his face. He paced toward the bike while putting on the helmet. “The bike looks better in person I must say.” Arno pointed out as he sat down behind her. He slowly wrapped his arms around her waist. “Uhh.. Like this?” he asked all nervous and worried.

The lanky professor finishes the final staples and wanders off a swathe of posters hanging from the bulletin board in the middle of the quad. On each in a dirty hand scrawled print hangs this message,

Ever wanted to learn more than just hand to hand combat, powers training, and trivia about the current world? Want to really get the fullest and most complete training in the wondrous, insane, and truly odd reality that you are likely to deal with once you ascend beyond these hallowed halls? If you think you have the mind, the soul, and the grit to handle learning about a universe far larger than even you might be able to imagine come to Lincoln hall at 1st block bright and early at 8 am for the first class. Those from beyond Earth welcome, we will go over various issues that you might find yourself including the various oddities of Earth life and culture.

Advanced Xeno Training: Attend first class

The note seems to trail off below into what appear to be various other notes left from the original print that have since been erased, inked over, scratched out, or eroded by copying beyond recognition. Something seems to suggest washed hands but it is hard to tell. The time though does seem to list this as a rather long class, with the first meeting lasting through the start of the day well into the beginning of lunch.

“Sounds interesting.” Arno turned to his side to talk to the person standing there. “Are you planning on attending this?”

“What I fancy,” Lionel began simply, adjusting his silvery grey tie on his black shirt and stepping towards the other as though he was in a business meeting, calm, confident, and with a knowing smile upon his face, “is the chance to get away from these walls since I’ve only just found myself trapped within them. And perhaps company to drink with as we complain about classes and such.” He paused, still grinning as he chuckled, jutting his hand out towards Arno, “Lionel Luthor. Nice to meet you.”

Arno accepted the hand offered to him. “Nice to meet you as well. I’m Arno Stark.”

“A social drink sounds good.” Arno looked at the man’s rather formal wear. “One of the more up class one’s perhaps given your attire. I’ll need to grab something a bit nicer to wear. I’ll meet you at a place called the Dorsia in about fifteen minutes.”

Arno was walking. Hearing a man talk he was at first unsure if it was directed toward him, but quickly responded. “I guess it would depend on what you fancy. This little city has a lot to offer last time I looked. When I arrived here first thing I did was take a stroll across the entire city.”

Jinx laughed slightly, “How is it coming along though? any bugs or Anything?” 

“I hear the closet monster is a bit hard to beat”

“It’s coming along quite nicely. Constantly upgrading it, but it’s serving the purpose at the moment. No bugs I can say of.”

“Hmm... perhaps I should go check on it just in case.” Arno laughed.

“Yeah. I’m one of those do it now or never do it kind of people.” Dinah admitted. “Because that isn’t how it works. Have you not seen movies?” She asked him though she wasn’t being serious about it. “I don’t know if putting majestic and beast together is a compliment to me or not.” She then smirked. “If you wanted a ride, all you had to do was ask though I’m not sure you could handle it. Grab your coat and wait at the entrance.”

“I think I can see you being that way. I guess you could say I felt it deep down in my kidney.” Arno smirked. “I’m more of a book person, But I might start to watch more.” He lightly laughed. “I’m kind of new at the flirting thing. I guess I’ll have to work on it.” Arno smiled to her acceptance of the test ride. “Alright then I’ll see you outside.” He quickly grabbed his coat and walked out of the labs.

He waited outside the lab doors where she said she would be. ‘This should be fun.’  He thought to himself as he waited.

“It’s Jen,” she supplied with a curious grin.  “Jen Walters, and uh…back up just two or three sentences.  Did you say your brother’s program JARVIS?”

“Nice to meet you Jen. I guess I should have introduced myself as well, but I’m Arno Stark. And yes Tony’s program called JARVIS. I know he wasn’t here long but I was almost sure he made an impression on everyone.” Arno joked.

She accepted his hand warily, standing back up and facing his armor apprehensively. It was sleek, modern and blank.

Where she could normally read people from their body language alone, the suit limited his movement, confining her understanding of him to just his voice. When the face was revealed, she wasn’t so much shocked as relieved. His face expressed concern and she shook her head before pointing to him and holding up her hands, wondering whether he was alright.

He wasn’t sure why she wasn’t speaking but he slowly was catching onto her body language and hand gestures. It was hard for him to catch on as no one he has previously encountered solely used this means of communication. It seemed as she was concerned for him. Arno decided it would be best to leave the suit to reveal that he had not received any injuries. The suit came to life as pieces intricately shifted til the suit resembled a half human shell. Arno walked out. “As you can see I wasn’t harmed. I’m glad you didn’t get harmed as well. May I ask who you are and why you were on top of that building?” He only hoped it was for good reasons. He wouldn’t know what to do otherwise.

She then pulled out her phone to show him a picture. “This is the majestic beast.”

“I can see what you mean. Patience can be hard at times.” Arno joked. “Who said it can’t be both ways.” He smiled. “Oh you mean the majestic beast on the phone.” Arno said then looked at the phone. “Let’s take it for a ride you can show me how you want it to operate better under certain circumstances.”

“Request? Well, cocktails every weekend. Be in a famous band.” Dinah joked before she got serious. “I want to go faster. Simple as that. Something that is…less hassle traffic wise.” Dinah said to him, not revealing it was for her vigilante work. “Got a little gizmo for that?”

“Drinks do sound good.” Arno said as he smirked. “Fast. I think I can do that. Not particularly patient with traffic? How about you show me what kind of bike we are talking about? From what is see about you I’m sure she is a beauty.” He said with a smile.

“It was no problem at all.” He said as saw her about to leave only to catch his attention again. “You would be correct.” He replied. “Good luck moving in and with your first day.” Arno said as he started to head to his classes.

Amaya half smiled and looked down at shoes and then back up at the boy. “They do” she said. “I like purple” she added with little further an explanation, She readjusted her cosmos themed jansport backpack. “And your right about the dorm behind you. I am gonna head to that other one” she said pointing back to the other dormitory. “My name is Amaya, what’s yours?” she asked.

“It looks good on you.” Arno replied. “I’m glad. It might have looked a little funny at first. That one you should have a better chance finding your room.” He smiled as he joked. “Amaya an unusual name for an unusual girl. Pretty though. I’m Arno Stark.” He replied.

Dinah playfully rolled her eyes before she walked back over to him. “It is cute you think I’m here cause I need something fixing.” She laughed. “I know how to fix my motorcycle. I have built it by hand. I know how to make improvements. Some good parts and all that. However, I’m looking for something a little more high grade. Think you can help me out, big man?”

“My apologies then.” Arno replied with a smile clearly in a joking manner. “It would depend I suppose. I’ve been getting a lot of ‘requests’ lately. So what is your request?” Arno asked her as high grade intrigued him.
