dear reader,
it’s been a year of me having writer’s block. it’s very subtle, isn’t it? I mean, I always kept posting every fortnight, I guess? but trust me, I miss those days when I could upload literary pieces every one or two days.
I assume some of you might say that it’s not that hard to write, that I just need to write what’s on my mind but it is just like a mental block.
luckily, today, I woke up and thought about something. I want to write. I want to write so badly, but again, I can’t think of anything, not even a prompt to start with.
one thing I did after waking up was check my phone, claim the rewards on my games which took some time, and surf the internet as usual. you see how unproductive I am? but, duh, I know you do it too. haha.
anyway, as I was scrolling on facebook, I saw a post again. a post saying “please be good to me, december” shared by my facebook friend. that person wasn’t the only one who shared it, lots of people bombarded my newsfeed with the same post.
as an atheist, I don’t believe that sharing posts like that can really make your december better. I have to admit, though, I still share them too because, you know, they usually come with an aesthetic template that makes my wall look cute. if you know, you know.
maybe sharing it might help in a way, like letting your friends know you don’t want a messed-up month, so they should not mess with you.
it’s just weird that after posting it, a month later, they’ll have another post saying, “you’ve been so bad, december. hope my january will be better.” seriously? is it just a coincidence? for the aesthetics? for clout? or maybe their life really is that boring.
is it really boring? is it really that bad? or maybe we just forget the good days. thirty days, and not a single good thing happened?
think about it. think about those days you still woke up.
think about those days your loved ones still woke up. lots and lots of people die every day. think about the days you still had food on your table, up until now. see?
contentment and taking action are what we need.
contentment because we forget to appreciate the good things happening to us and focus only on the bad. if you focus on the negative side, then surely, you’ll think your month, your year, your life is pure negativity too.
it’s okay to share a post like that, but do you take action to make it come true? remember, it’s just a fancy post, don’t treat it like it’s a talisman that will bring you luck. act. move. and it will be fine.
get used to my writing because I really like to exaggerate things. I turn a seed into Jack’s beanstalk. uhm, okay, maybe that’s another hyperbole.
nevertheless, I just want you to know that you were born in this world to live. show the world that even though your freedom isn’t absolute, you are still free. you are limitless. you are unstoppable. all the hindrances will be gone. just help yourself.
Survive. Strive. Shine.

I was bullied earlier just for being bisexual. turns out‚ the person who bullied me had a bad experience with another bisexual and decided to take it out on every bisexuals. It made me realize how one person’s actions can unfairly taint the reputation of a whole group.
example: if a filipino teases an american vlogger‚ and suddenly everyone who saw that video thinks all filipinos are like that.
sure‚ the bully is wrong‚ but I get where his ignorance or maybe stupidity comes from. I guess it’s trauma‚ even though it doesn’t excuse his behavior.
