The Pitch Deck for Influencer Marketing Agencies
How Influencer Marketing Agencies Can Pitch Influencer Marketing Successfully
PR is no longer just about media relations. The bounds of “earned media” now extends beyond reporters into the social media realm, and beyond.
In fact, many companies are looking to increase brand awareness, engage consumers, and drive sales through influencer marketing! According to a recent survey, 51% of marketers say that they spend between $50-$500K per year on influencer marketing, and 15% reported then spend $1M+.
Budgets are by no means small! There’s so much potential in influencer marketing for agencies that want to provide impact to new clients or expand existing accounts. Below, we offer six tips for creating an irresistible influencer marketing program pitch (you can also get a template deck here).
1. Set the scene with data.
Similar to how you compose a pitch to a reporter, it’s important for influencer marketing agencies to start by giving your client context. Why invest in influencer marketing now? What’s the potential impact? Why is it relevant to them?
It’s even better if you can answer these questions with data. Try finding stats that frame influencer marketing as a no-brainer strategy. For example, 70% of consumers are more likely to buy a product from a brand if they collaborate with an influencer they know and trust. Or, 54% of marketers strongly agree that influencer marketing has successfully increased brand awareness. The goal here is to show them what they're missing out on!
2. Map the influencer marketing program to their business goals.
There are different tactics (and influencer types) that will help drive brand awareness versus conversions, and so on.
When building your deck, start by reiterating your client’s goals to them and then show them how your tailored plan — from influencers, to trends, to metrics — will help them reach those goals.
If you don’t already know the client’s goals, then make sure you ask them ahead of your presentation. Do they want to earn more brand awareness or drive sales? Are they interested in reaching new audiences or strengthening loyalty amongst an engaged community? Do they have a specific brand mission or values (e.g. diversity and inclusion, sustainability, body positivity) that they want to promote?
3. Come with a tailored list of influencers.
The basis of a good influencer marketing program are good partners. As such, it will be important to provide a sample list of potential influencer partners in your deck. This is your chance to prove that you are advisors who know how to be strategic and data oriented!
When finding influencers for this sample list, provide basic metrics about them (follower size, engagement rate, video view rate, etc) but also be prepared to explain why you believe they are a perfect fit for your client.
Pro tip: If you already have access to Traackr, try using this special technique for finding high performing influencers.
4. Highlight a few relevant platforms, content types, and influencer trends.
Take your pitch a step further by highlighting your research and expertise in the industry. Pull a few content and platform trends that you think your client could utilize in their influencer marketing program. For example, beauty brands that are looking for interesting and engaging video content might want to know about the beauty influencer ASMR trend. Or fragrance brands that are having a hard time representing their products on social media might be interested to learn about influencers who create scent inspired mood boards (example of this in our most recent State of Influence report).
If you feel that you have enough information about your client’s goals and messaging, you could even mock up a few possible campaigns with influencer rosters, themes, and metrics!
5. Show how you will provide transparent measurements of success.
58% of marketers say that measuring the return on investment (ROI) is the biggest challenge when producing successful influencer marketing programs. As your client’s trusted advisor, you have the opportunity to help them be one of the few who know exactly what impact their influencer marketing programs have.
In your deck, lay out a plan for regularly and transparently reporting on program and campaign performance. Some of the best metrics that are important report on include:
Performance metrics
Number of activated influencers
Number of posts
Reach
Impressions
Number of views
Number of engagements
Engagement rate
Spend efficiency
Cost per Post
Cost per Thousand Impressions
Cost per View
Cost per Engagement
Cost per Click
Fun fact, if you have access to Traackr you can save time by exporting all of these campaign metrics directly from the platform into powerpoint slides.
Tip: Trying to explain the value of influencer marketing to your executive team? Here are some tips from an expert who’s been in the industry for over a decade.
6. Show a few influencer marketing success stories to seal the deal.
If your influencer marketing agency has examples of previous campaigns and programs that you’ve run for other clients, great! If you don’t have any case studies of your own, here are a few that might be helpful:
How Colgate-Palmolive and its agency partners cut down influencer campaign costs by 40%.
How Beekman 1802 built awareness and drove sales with TikTok influencers.
How BFGoodrich reached newer, younger audiences with sports influencers.
If those case studies aren’t relevant to your client’s industry, put your googling skills to the test and find a few influencer marketing campaigns that have made the news! Here are a few brands from various industries that have become known for great influencer marketing over the years:
e.l.f. Cosmetics
Rare Beauty
Fenty Beauty
Shiseido
Dove
Maybelline
Charlotte Tilbury
Nike
Sam Edelman
American Eagle
Revolve
Hoka
Gymshark
Moncler
Absout
Chipotle
Bumble
Meliá Hotels
Audible
Otherwise, you could browse past winners from specific influencer marketing awards like the Shorty Awards, the influencer sections of Digiday’s Content Marketing Awards, the Webby Awards, and more.

Grammarly Your Ultimate Writing Resource
As writers, words are our raw materials. We use them to write convincing essays, create new characters, and build entire worlds. We can also manipulate words to function in new or surprising ways. We do this through wordplay.
Wordplay is a way for a writer to draw attention to their writing, typically for the sake of entertainment. If you’ve ever paused on a clever turn of phrase, like a pun or a metaphor, then you’ve encountered wordplay.
Give your writing extra polish Grammarly helps you communicate confidently WRITE WITH GRAMMARLY
What is wordplay?
Wordplay is a literary device that authors use to draw attention to their writing, be it a detail, plot point, or character, through some clever arrangement of letters, words, or phrasing. There are many ways to incorporate wordplay into your writing, and doing it well can have various effects on a reader. Wordplay is most often used for levity—to generate a fun, entertaining, or playful atmosphere. But wordplay can also be employed in more serious situations if you want your reader to stop and think.
Are there any rules for wordplay?
There aren’t any formal rules when it comes to using wordplay. You can insert as little or as much as you’d like. It can be subtle or obvious, and it can be humorous or serious. The main objective of wordplay, as its name suggests, is to play with your words.
Examples of wordplay in literature
Some authors rely heavily on wordplay to create a playful or clever tone in their stories.
In Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll uses puns, homophones, and alliteration to entertain his readers. For example, in this paragraph Carroll uses alliteration to tangle the reader in Alice’s words:
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary-wise; what it is, it wouldn’t be, and what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see?
In A Series of Unfortunate Events, Lemony Snicket hides the letters “VFD” throughout the stories to signal that the main characters are in danger (which is pretty much all the time). This is a clever use of initialism because every time the reader sees three words beginning with those letters (for example: Volunteer Feline Detectives, Vinegar-Flavored Doughnuts) the reader experiences a sense of fear. Even the author’s name, Lemony Snicket, is a pseudonym, or a fake name, which itself is a kind of wordplay.
Examples of wordplay in poetry
Poetry is a great place to find wordplay. You’ll find many literary devices that are considered wordplay in poetry, such as alliteration, rhyming, and tautogram. In the poem “Washington Crossing the Delaware” by David Shulman, every line is an anagram of the poem’s title. That means if you take every letter from any line, you can rearrange them to spell “Washington Crossing the Delaware.”
A hard, howling, tossing water scene. Strong tide was washing hero clean. “How cold!” Weather stings as in anger. O Silent night shows war ace danger! The cold waters swashing on in rage. Redcoats warn slow his hint engage.
16 types of wordplay with examples
1 Acronym
Acronyms are words formed by the first letter or letters of a term. Acronyms are an important part of slang or “internet speak”—BAE, FOMO, YOLO, and even GIF. They are also found commonly throughout business, government (SCOTUS, MEDICAID, SNAP), and other sectors.
2 Acrostic
An acrostic is a composition where specific letters form a new word or words. You’ll find acrostics in some crossword puzzles, where certain letters are circled to form a clue to the puzzle.
Example: The poet Edgar Allen Poe wrote a poem simply titled “An Acrostic.” The poem was about a woman named Elizabeth, and the letters that begin each line, when read vertically, spell “ELIZABETH.”
3 Alliteration
Alliteration is the repetition of an initial consonant sound in words that are in close proximity to each other.
Example: “And churlish chiding of the winter’s wind, / Which, when it bites and blows upon my body.” —As You Like It by William Shakespeare
4 Anagram
Anagrams take the letters from a specific word or phrase and scramble them to create something new.
Example: dormitory→dirty room
Tom Marvolo Riddle→I am Lord Voldemort
5 Homophone
Homophones are words that sound the same but have different meanings. The most commonly used homophones are “to,” “too,” and “two.” But homophones can be used deliberately in writing to create confusion or humor.
Example: “You see the earth takes twenty-four hours to turn round on its axis—”
“Talking of axes,” said the Duchess, “chop off her head!”
—Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
6 Malapropism
Malapropism is the incorrect placement of a word or letter, resulting in a comical, nonsensical sentence.
Example: In 2002 a reporter asked boxer Mike Tyson what he was going to do next, to which he responded: “I don’t know. I might just fade into Bolivian.” What he meant to say is that he was going to fade into oblivion.
7 Mondegreen
A mondegreen is what happens when you mishear or misunderstand a phrase in a way that creates a new meaning. This happens often with song lyrics.
Example: Hearing Jimi Hendrix sing “‘Scuse me while I kiss this guy” in the song “Purple Haze” as opposed to the correct lyric, “‘Scuse me while I kiss the sky.”
8 Onomatopoeia
Boom! Crack! Pow! Onomatopoeias are words that sound like what they mean.
Example: Comic books often write out onomatopoeias to illustrate impact. In the Batman TV show, sounds like wham!, pow!, biff!, and crunch! appear on-screen.
9 Oxymoron
Oxymorons are phrases that use two contradictory words. You can use oxymorons for entertainment or for dramatic effect.
Example: “O brawling love! O loving hate!” —Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
10 Palindrome
Palindromes are words that read the same backward as they do forward. These can be fun to come up with but tricky to spot.
Example: A man, a plan, a canal: Panama.
11 Pangram
Pangrams are sentences or phrases that display all 26 letters of the alphabet.
Example: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
12 Portmanteau
Portmanteaus are two words blended together to make a new word. The word “motel” is a portmanteau combining “motor” and “hotel.” As wordplay, writers can use a portmanteau to create a new concept that hasn’t been put into words yet.
Example: In Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll, Alice comes across the word “slithy,” which stumps her. Humpty Dumpty explains to her: “Well, ‘slithy’ means ‘lithe and slimy.’ ‘Lithe’ is the same as ‘active.’ You see it’s like a portmanteau—there are two meanings packed up into one word.”
13 Pun
Puns are one of the most familiar forms of wordplay because they’re found in spoken language just as often as in written language. Puns are jokes that rely on homophones, or two words that sound similar with different meanings. Particularly witty puns may raise eyebrows; lousy puns get an eyeroll.
Example: Reading while sunbathing makes you well-red.
14 Rhyme
The repetition of identical sounds at the end of two or more words.
Example: If you’ve been on this earth for any amount of time, then chances are you’ve seen a rhyme.
15 Spoonerism
Spoonerisms happen when two letters in a word or phrase are switched, like calling a “butterfly” a “flutter by.” It’s what happens when you talk too fast and your brain doesn’t have time to keep up.
Example: Shel Silverstein’s book Runny Babbit: A Billy Sook is awash in spoonerisms. It follows Runny Babbit (a bunny rabbit) and his friends: Toe Jurtle, Skertie Gunk, Rirty Dat, Dungry Hog, and Snerry Jake.
16 Tautogram
Tautograms are texts where all the words start with the same letter. Note that these are different from alliterations because in the case of tautograms, the sound doesn’t matter as long as the letters are the same. With alliteration, the letters don’t matter as long as the sounds are the same. Tautograms are most often used in poems.
Example: We won’t wallow while we’re writing words.
Wordplay FAQs
What is wordplay?
Wordplay is all the ways a writer can manipulate words to create a new or surprising meaning.
How does wordplay work?
Wordplay works by tripping its readers on words they think they know. When a reader encounters wordplay, they will want to pause and think about the words being used. This helps readers notice the words themselves as well as holds their attention for a few extra seconds.
What is the purpose of wordplay?
Most often, wordplay is used to create a sense of amusement or entertainment for the reader. That’s why the word “play” is part of its title. However, wordplay can also create more serious or complex undertones if used deliberately. Metaphor is one example of wordplay that has a range of effects on its reader.

What Is Affiliate Marketing, and How Do I Use It?
What is affiliate marketing?
Of all performance-based marketing, affiliate marketing is one of the more affordable and complementary disciplines to influencer marketing. So how does it work? A brand pays someone a commission to promote their products through selected channels.
This person could be an individual consumer or an influencer (someone with significant followers). It’s important to note that while someone can be both an affiliate and an ambassador, these roles are not synonymous.
Affiliates operate on a digital-only level. They use specialized links shared on their platforms to earn a commission.
Ambassadors can operate either online or offline and usually have a deeper partnership with the brand in the form of a retainer. They don't always use specialized links, and their goal could be to build brand awareness or drive sales.
As a brand, there are multiple benefits to engaging in affiliate marketing. It's a great source of passive income and it mutually benefits both the brand and the affiliate.
Check out these Truelist stats from 2022:
More than 80% of brands have affiliate programs.
Almost 65% of affiliate marketers generate traffic by blogging.
Advertisers generate between 15% and 30% of all sales from affiliate programs.
Affiliate marketing makes up 16% of global eCommerce sales.
How affiliate and influencer marketing work together
Given that affiliate and influencer marketing both rely on individual partnerships and social media, they work best in conversation.
Affiliate marketing is undoubtedly a bottom-of-funnel discipline, as its main goal is to get folks to drive sales through their specialized links or codes. On the other hand, influencer marketing has been traditionally seen as a top-of-funnel discipline, or something that helps build brand awareness. Layering these two disciplines can give marketers a full-funnel digital/social media strategy.
That being said, the role of influencer marketing is quickly changing. A 6,000-respondent study found that approximately one third of shoppers turn to social media influencers to learn about products. This shift in consumer behavior has moved influencer marketing from top-of-funnel, to full-funnel and brought about the advent of social commerce. In short, influencers now have the power to build awareness for your brand, impact consumers’ evaluation of your product, and drive actual sales.
What this means is that influencer and affiliate marketing are even more closely related than before. They are no longer just complimentary — they’re integrated.
In fact, a lot of small brands dip their toes into paid influencer marketing campaigns with affiliates. Since these brands often have smaller budgets, traditional sponsored content isn't affordable. Affiliates, on the other hand, can cost less because their fee is covered by true sales and they have more incentive/obligation to post than the average influencer who receives gifted products.
Getting started with affiliate marketing
Now that you know what affiliate marketing is and how it complements influencer marketing, here are some tips for getting started:
Pick the right partners. If you’re just getting started, it might be best to start by signing some of your existing influencers and customers as affiliates. If you don’t have solid leads there, you can use social listening or influencer marketing tools to search to find people who have organically mentioned your brand. Tip: You can use Traackr's discovery and vetting tool to discover influencers already working as affiliates for other brands! Search past content for affiliate keywords like "affiliate," "my code," "specialized link," and "link in bio." Then view influencer performance metrics to make sure they're effective partners.
Use a performance-based compensation strategy. Avoid centering compensation around things like audience size, and instead base it on results-oriented metrics like engagement or sales. You could also use a cost per action (CPA) model, where affiliates get a commission each time a customer completes an action. The action could be clicking on a custom link or it could be purchasing a specific product.
Choose an affiliate network or influencer marketing software. This will help you use your time efficiently by automating certain processes. For example, Traackr’s social commerce/affiliate feature, helps you find and vet new partners, define attribution models and commission structures, calculate and send payments, track performance, and more.
Define your key performance indicators (KPIs). If you are combining influencer and affiliate marketing, you need to approach KPIs with a full-funnel mindset. While sales are the ultimate goal, there is also a product discovery and consideration aspect. Set yourself up to measure your campaigns from awareness, to consideration, to sales.

Types of Influencers
There’s more than just one category of influencers, and they all offer different exposure opportunities.
Working with any of them can turbo charge your marketing campaign by dramatically increasing the reach of your messaging. However, you need to ensure you choose the right type of influencer. Let’s look at the different categories:
Influencers can give your brand sparkle and credibility that you might struggle to build on your own. However, be sure to choose the right influencers for your brand.
Influencer Marketing Do’s and Don’ts
There are a few top tips you should think about for your influencer marketing campaigns — otherwise known as your influencer marketing do’s and don’ts checklist!
DO re-share and re-purpose
As your collaboration takes off, make sure you amplify it by resharing and cross-posting the content on all of your social channels. And make sure you have a conversation with the influencer about opportunities to repurpose the content they create; for example, you may use a TikTok post created by an influencer as advertising content.
DO build relationships
While it can be tempting to hop from one influencer to the next, building relationships with individual influencers is hugely valuable. Returning to specific influencers for multiple campaigns helps them be even more authentic when talking about your brand, and builds on brand awareness among their audience.
DO be present on their channels
Before reaching out to an influencer, don’t be afraid to actively engage with their content and show your support. While the collaboration is running, be present and active on their channels, and keep it going after the collaboration has ended.
DON’T be a control freak
It’s important to not be overly prescriptive or controlling when working with an influencer. It is, after alll, a collaboration and you should be making the most of their creativity, originality, and connection to their audience. While a detailed brief is useful and script approval can be arranged, allow the influencer to contribute ideas and take the lead on things like content scheduling and release details.
DON’T be vague when reaching out
When sending your first outreach email to an influencer, don’t be vague or impersonal. Be very clear about who you, your organization and/or your product are. And don’t forget to state what you like about their content, why you think they would be a good fit for your brand, or call out specific work you admire.
DON’T be coy about your KPIs
You should have a clear idea of your KPIs for your influencer collaboration, and be upfront about them. Be clear about what analytics or stats you expect to be delivered at the end of the campaign. Influencers often provide a general set of analytics, but it’s always worth stating exactly which metrics you want to see from the outset. Our ‘Targets and KPIs toolkit’ can help you develop metrics if you need guidance.
Influencer red flags
There are some negatives to watch out for when it comes to choosing an influencer so make sure you are aware of these red flags at the research stage:
Imagery: No profile image or use of stock photos
Username: Unusual or offensive usernames
Profile: Private or anonymous profiles
Followers: Influencer follows more people than follow them
Bio: Templated or copied bio
Website: No link to a website
Content: Little or no original content
Recency: The profile is very new
Types of Influencer Collaborations
There are multiple ways for a brand or organization to engage and collaborate with an influencer. Here are some ideas.
1. Event coverage
Event marketing is a perfect opportunity to engage influencers. If your event is aimed at people in a particular location or with specific interests, influencers who operate within those areas or niches are ideal for getting your event in front of your target audience.
Get them on board early to build up excitement, and allow them to conduct live coverage on the day. Here are some tips for making your virtual event a success if this is something you’re thinking about. One example is TikTok movie guy Straw Hat Goofy.
2. Gifting
49 percent of consumers depend on influencer recommendations, and gifting is your opportunity to capitalize on this. Gifting involves seeking brand exposure for the price of your product or service. Send a sample or offer them a free experience, and include information about you and your product to make it easy for them to promote you. An example here is Irish influencer James Kavanagh.
3. Video
A video collaboration could involve engaging an influencer to star in a campaign video or video series. Video content can be easily repurposed and re-distributed and you can make quality videos without hiring a professional, like the Joy of Clean account.
4. Giveaway
If you are planning a giveaway, you could engage an influencer to host the giveaway for you on their platforms, creating the visual to promote the giveaway and driving their audience to your profile.
See the example below from Twitch streamer, YouTuber and professional gamer Ninja with computer hardware manufacturer, NZXT.
5. Takeovers
This involves engaging an influencer to ‘take over’ your social channels for a period of time, allowing them to post content directly to your story, or host a live video. Make sure you and the influencer promote the takeover in advance and they cross-promote on their channels on the day. The example below is a takeover of Goop by Dr Shauna Shapiro.
6. Signal boosting
This is an example of a short-term activation that’s particularly great if you have a timely message, charitable cause or social issue you want to boost, like a new helpline or a charity event. For this initiative, it works to contact a targeted list of influencers of various sizes, ask them to boost your message and give them options — this could be as simple as sharing your post to their story.
A great example is the National Adult Literacy Agency in the UK which used Instagram influencers to promote its free distance learning services.
If you work in this sector, listen to our podcast ‘Marketing for Nonprofits’ to find out more.
How to Build an Effective Influencer Marketing Campaign
So, now that you know more about influencer marketing, how do you build an influencer marketing campaign? Here are some important steps to help you plan:
1. Set your goals and KPIs
Before you kick off any influencer campaign you need to nail down your goals or KPIs for the campaign. Are you looking to raise brand awareness, promote a new product or drive leads?
2. Confirm your budget
At this stage, you need to confirm the budget you will need for the influencer to promote your brand or product. The costs vary depending on the influencer, network and scope of the campaign. Use this media budget planner to keep track.
3. Choose your network
Make sure you choose the right platform for your audience, sector and campaign type. Is it video content you’re creating, a blog article or imagery? The content type will determine the platform as TikTok or Instagram are great for videos while a blog may do better on Twitter or LinkedIn.
4. Find your influencer
Choosing the right influencer is essential and there are several areas to consider:
Audience type and quality: Are their followers the ideal target audience you are trying to reach or engage?
Preferred social network: What social channels do they use effectively? How are these channels used by your audience?
Content quality: Do they create content that aligns with your brand values?
Authenticity: Do they appear genuine and believable when they promote products?
Brand personality: Do their communication style and personality fit with your brand values?
Engagement rates and frequency: How much engagement do they typically get from their following? How often will they feature your product? How often do they publish new content?
Fees: How do they prefer to be paid (CPA commission, CPC traffic, or flat fees)? Does this work for your budget or goals?
5. Reach out to an influencer
Once you have identified suitable influencers, make contact with them. You can do this via a ‘reach out’ email or social media, but be open, friendly, and honest about what you want and tell them a little about you and your brand. Don’t be afraid to include detailed information that will grab their attention and let them know if the collaboration is of interest to them. Once they are engaged, you should establish fees and terms and consider a contract.
6. Develop your campaign and share with your influencer
This is the fun part as you get to share the campaign assets with your chosen influencer and see what happens online! Make sure to use tracking parameters and relevant hashtags you can monitor and set a timeframe.
7. Monitor performance
With your KPIs and goals in place, you can monitor campaign performance. This can be done on the social platform and also on your website through Google Analytics or your CRM. Your influencer should also be responsible for providing data on performance.
There are some useful influencer marketing tools out there that can help in your campaign strategy. These include platforms that can automate influencer discovery, influencer outreach and even run entire campaigns.
Let’s look at the best influencer marketing tools by category so you know which ones can help at various stages.

Top Secret Affiliate Marketing Strategy Using AdPlexity- No Website Required!
Today I will share with you a top-secret affiliate marketing strategy used by six-figure affiliate marketers. The best part about this strategy is that it is so straightforward; anyone can apply it without requiring a website, either!
Do you want to know how big affiliate marketers work online? Do you want to know the secret behind six-figure affiliate marketers? This article will tackle how established affiliate marketers work online to reel in big money using a straightforward strategy that requires no website.
Before moving on, I would like to mention that I have already uploaded a video discussing this strategy on my YouTube channel for those who prefer video format.
The strategy!
As I already mentioned, this strategy is so straightforward that anyone can start applying it; and remember, it does not require a website. Applying this strategy, you can start small and slowly work your way up to start making five and six figures monthly and even daily!
There are two steps to the top secret affiliate marketing strategy:
The first step is to find a successful affiliate marketing campaign.
Second, you duplicate the campaign.
By the way, if you are new to affiliate marketing, please feel free to read my article about beginners’ best affiliate marketing programs. And again, If you would rather learn by watching videos, I recommend watching my affiliate marketing tutorial playlist.
Step 1: Find a successful campaign
Starting with step one, the idea is to simply find someone who is already running a paid ad campaign.
If you want to know what paid ads are, I suggest watching my video in which I talk about how I made $25 in 24 hours using affiliate marketing and native ads.
Online, you can find many native ad platforms, such as Outbrain, MGID, Revcontent, and many other networks used to run native ads.
The plan is to find people running successful affiliate marketing campaigns through the agency of these networks. And to do that, you can manually search for these campaigns, which is very time-consuming; or you can use an ad-spy tool. Take, for instance, Adplexity.
What is Adplexity?
Adplexity is one of the best ad-spy tools out there. Using Adplexity, you can spy on mobile ads, desktop ads, push ads, native ads, e-commerce, so on and so forth. Adplexity spares you the effort of finding people’s campaigns manually as it finds and assorts ad campaigns from most to least popular.
Above, you can see the main interface of Adplexity. In the picture, you can see native ads generating the most traffic when making this video. Because we’re talking about affiliate marketing, our primary concern is obviously the affiliate marketing network. Let’s take, for example, ClickBank.
By selecting ClickBank, Adplexity will show you all the ads that are promoting ClickBank. Adplexity has a smart filter that you can adjust to view ads based on either how long they’ve been running or based on the amount of traffic they generate. Of course, you can see both the campaigns’ lifetime and the number of hits they’ve generated.
After only one glance, you will notice that certain campaigns are repeated more than once, with minor changes such as the images used. This is, of course, because some people are duplicating the same campaign.
However, you’ll also notice that the same campaigns duplicated repeatedly are still reeling in a lot of traffic because, basically, they’re successful. Using Adplexity, you can find a successful ad campaign and duplicate it.
Note:
Before we move on to step two of the top secret affiliate marketing strategy, I would like to say something. When you work online, especially when you work in affiliate marketing, you will encounter dishonest or misleading products; some people might be marketing morally ambiguous products.
They might be involved in some sketchy scams or worse, human trafficking schemes. A piece of advice, it is important not to lose track of the things that matter more than money, such as honesty, integrity, morality, and most importantly, your humanity.
Morally ambiguous choices might be alluring, but you might end up hurting someone in the process. For these reasons, I recommend that you put the time in to find legitimate products that provide value and ultimately benefit the people who will end up buying them.
Step 2: Duplicating a campaign
After choosing a successful ad campaign, the next step is to duplicate it. Adplexity shows you everything you need to know about the ad, such as the analytics, the countries in which the ad is running, the devices on which it’s running, and most importantly, the landing pages and used platforms.
Following the landing page link provided, you will see the page on which the article is running. Ultimately you will be able to see the product that this ad campaign is promoting.
You can simply copy the same campaign, making sure to personalize it as much as possible. And as a good practice, you can check the platform used to run the ad campaign to avoid using it yourself. For example, if the person running the campaign uses Revcontent, you can use Mgid or Outbrain to run your version of the same campaign.
One more thing
Another important point that I would like to touch upon in this article is tracking. Whenever you run an ads campaign, it is most important that you keep track of your progress.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to keep track of the progress of your campaign. Think of it as homework, it’s rather tedious and annoying, but it must be done, as it gives you numbers to work with.
You can track your progress using software such as Voluum or Thrivetracker.
To recap
Find a successful ad campaign using Adplexity, sign up for the same affiliate program, and duplicate the same ad campaign on different ad networks.
And remember, tracking your progress is important because it helps you assess your situation and adjust your strategy accordingly.

How to Make Passive Income: The Secret Formula
Have you ever wondered if it's possible to relax more often, spend time with your family, maybe learn a new skill? Well, it IS possible with passive income. In this article, I will be sharing with you my secret formula for achieving that within a reasonable amount of time!📷📷Passive income is mainly income that requires minimal labor to earn and maintain. It is referred to as progressive passive income when the earner expends little effort to grow the income. To some up, it is any business activity in which the person earning does not physically participate. Other examples include rental income. This means passive income is any money earned in a manner that does not require too much effort. Several passive income-generating ideas need a lot of work, to begin with, like developing a blog or leasing property. Still, eventually, they earn money even when the owner is asleep.Passive income also includes a limited partnership or other businesses in which a person is not actively involved. In this case, the person is referred to as a silent investor, for example. Portfolio income is also considered passive income, so dividends and interest would be regarded as passive.Even if a person already has a full-time job, they would be able to welcome additional income with little to no effort on their part. Developing a way to generate passive income provides many benefits. With this extra income, you can even potentially take early retirement. Moreover, passive income is a backup plan in case you lose your day job.Without further ado, introducing the formula on how to make passive income: EGC+MON+SEO=99%PI. Don't be afraid, I'm not about to walk you through some math class nightmare. The preceding terms are really simple and are the key on how to make passive income. Read on to find out what each one means as I explain them step by step!📷 How to make Passive Income using EGC Now, for the first of our elusive terms: EGC This simply stands for evergreen content. Evergreen content is content that is always useful, like for example a guide on how to lose weight. As long as human beings care about eating healthy or losing weight, that topic will remain relevant. Other examples might include a DIY on how to make cake at home, a video on how to change your car's tires… etc. What all of these have in common is that they have been around for decades and will continue to be so for decades to come. Now, to get a bit more technical: what is content? Content can be, for example, an article in a blog like this one here or maybe a video on YouTube like the one this article is based on. Another example of content is also tools and programs like my H-Supertools. Now that you know what EGC is, you're one step closer to knowing how to make passive income!MON for the Win! Previously, we discussed EGC and the different types of content, now onto the next thing! MON is the second element of how to make passive income. It stands for monetization which is to make money using your content. For my first example, I will mention an article on my blog at H-educate. The article is titled: “How I Moved from 1K to 10K $ in 18 Months working Online! (case study)”. That article is evergreen content, I estimate it to last at least 5 years. The way I monetized it is by promoting my courses and services on it. Another way is to use affiliate links in the article. For more information on affiliate marketing, be sure to check out my affiliate marketing tutorial on YouTube. In addition to writing articles, you can also make passive income by making YouTube videos! Using my channel, I get passive income by just getting views on my videos. As shown below, they continue to get views every month and I continue to get paid for those views and you can do the same!📷 Using YouTube's analytics, you can keep track of your video's views and other useful information.Third Way to Make Passive Income:Finally, we have the third way to get passive income which is to publish tools. My website H-Supertools is a free digital marketing and SEO platform. On that website you will find ads for
different affiliate products like GetResponse, ClickFunnels, Semrush, web hosting, and email validation services…etc Using this method of promoting affiliate products with ads you can get paid per click! So, we have seen several monetization techniques by now, like using ads like Google AdSense, promoting your services, and using affiliate links. If you want to see a more in-depth discussion on monetization techniques please check out this video! 📷 We have come far in revealing the secret formula on how to make passive income, now there is just one final step. The Final Chapter: SEO Here it is, the final dilemma! You have established some evergreen content that is sure to last for many years. Also, you have applied to all the appropriate affiliate programs in order to monetize your content. Still, you wonder, why are there barely any visitors? Well, that's really simple: You are still missing the SEO!SEO is the final step in completing the formula on how to get passive income. It stands for Search Engine Optimization. If you were to google one of my tools, the Super Email Sender you will find that it's at the top of the search results. This means that the probability it will get clicked on is high! So, how can you enhance your SEO and get visitors? The answer is as always, really simple: You need to get traffic! There are 2 ways to get traffic. The first one is getting free traffic manually by using Quora for example. For more tips on how to get traffic manually please make sure to watch my video on the 7 tactics to get free traffic easily. 📷 Relax, It's Passive Income!Since our goal is to get 99% passive income it means that we don't want to spend too much time and effort everyday on getting traffic. Optimally, perhaps around 1 to 2 hours per day getting traffic is the goal. It is possible to get organic traffic from google for free and get around one thousand visitors from the first day. Be sure to check out my SEO mini-course in this video to find out how!

7 Best Two-Tier Affiliate Programs for Digital Marketers
Two-tier affiliate marketing offers two commissions, one for your sale and one for purchase made by the affiliate you referred. And that’s exciting because you make money for the efforts made by another affiliated person. That’s why I’ve created this list of the best two-tier affiliate programs and networks for digital marketers.
There’s a huge list of such programs for almost every industry. For example, Market Health’s affiliate program offers two-tier commissions to those in the health niche.
Affiliate marketing spending will be over $8.2 by 2022 in the US alone, according to Statista. So there’s a vast potential to make more bucks as an affiliate marketer. Also, a lot of affiliate marketing tools have made it easy to do business.
Because my niche is digital marketing, this post will talk about double-tier affiliate programs for online marketers only.
But if you’re new, let’s dig a little deeper into the basics first. So let’s get started!
What is Two-Tier Affiliate Marketing Program
When you promote an affiliate product and make a sale, the merchant (the company that created the product) pays you a commission for bringing in another customer.
This is called affiliate marketing. You can ask the company about its affiliate program, where you know the commission, the process you get paid, and other related details.
And it becomes a two-tier affiliate program if it offers a commission
On your sales
and on the sales of another affiliate, you referred to the program
Yes, you guessed it right; Both the commissions are different. For example, with the A2 Hosting affiliate program, you can earn up from $55 to $125 per sale made by you and make $5 per sale made by the person you referred to its affiliate program.
And such a program that offers two-tier commissions is called a two-tier affiliate marketing program. And the person you referred to an affiliate program is called a sub-affiliate. It’s important to note that it’s not an MLM scheme at all.
Multi-level marketing often has a lot more tiers than just two. My recommendation is to run away as far as you can from the MLM world. But if it’s a two-tier program, embrace it with love.
Top 7: Best Two-Tier Affiliate Programs for Digital Marketers
I have used some of these sub-affiliate programs as a digital marketer. And I recommend you do the same if you’re interested.
Systeme.io’s Sub-Affiliate Marketing Program
Systeme.io is for everyone who makes money online, from digital marketers to entrepreneurs to freelancers. It offers all the marketing tools you need to run any business online. Sales funnels? Systeme has got it. Email marketing automation? You’re covered!
📷📷
Website builders? Done! Do you want to manage an affiliate program for your company? Systeme helps you with that as well. Why am I telling you about this? It’s because the product itself is exceptionally viable. And this is the reason you’d want to recommend it to your audience.
With Systeme.io’s two-tier affiliate program, you get
1st Tier Commission2nd Tier Commission40%5%
It means you’ll get a 5% commission on the sales made by the person you referred to its program. And you also get a 40% commission on your sales.
Systeme.io keeps rolling new products on its platform. So you have the opportunity to earn affiliate commission on a lot of products.
Builderall – Ultimate Marketing Software
This software also has all the tools you need to run an email marketing or social media campaign. But wait, there’s more. You can also do the designing, video editing, and whatnot! Building a marketing funnel is also a piece of the pie with Builderall.
📷📷
Builderall 5.0’s two-tier affiliate program offers,
1st Tier Commission2nd Tier Commission100%30%
Isn’t it tremendous? No (or very few) programs offer 100% commission on your sales and 30% commission on the sales made by your referred affiliate.
Builderall claims to be the world’s most complete and powerful digital marketing platform for internet entrepreneurs. It has the world’s top-notch support, valuable features, tools, and apps for every digital marketer. And that’s why it’s an incredible product to recommend to your audience.
WP Engine – Top Managed Hosting Service
WP Engine is a top managed hosting platform for WordPress. It offers fast, reliable, and secure business website hosting at affordable pricing. However, it’s not as inexpensive as in shared hosting plans. Every penny invested in managed hosting is worth it.
You can make up to $50 per sub-affiliate sale of WP Engine hosting plans. You referred an affiliate to WP Engine’s program who made 10 sales this month. Then you’ll earn $500 in addition to your affiliate commission.
And I believe it’s incredible when the hosting plans are extremely reliable.
Fiverr – Leading Freelance Marketplace
As a digital marketer, you always come across a situation where you need an extra hand for help. For example, you can create excellent content. But you may need a designer to make it look catchy to your audience. And your clients are also in search of freelancers.
That’s where you can refer them to Fiverr and make bucks. And you can also make money over sub-affiliate sales. Fiverr’s affiliate marketing program is super easy to get started and offers substantial commissions.
1st Tier Commission2nd Tier Commission$15-$150 CPA for various services10%
Fiverr has done a brilliant job in revising its affiliate program. And it must be profitable for the business and affiliates as well.
Inc Authority – Company Forming Business Entities
Inc Authority is a company that forms LLCs and corporations in the US. And it’s been in the business since 1989, having created over 140,000 companies in the country. As a digital marketer, you come across people who want to start fresh.
📷📷
And they may be interested in creating a company. Refer them to Inc Authority and make $80 per sale. And you also make a 1% second tier commission if you refer to a sub-affiliate who made a sale for the Inc Authority.
A2Hosting’s sub-affiliate Program
I recommend A2 Hosting because of its blazing fast hosting services with reliable uptime of 99.9%. If you also do the same, you’ll not regret it. You can make from $55 to $125 per sale and $5 per sub-affiliate sale.
📷📷
A2Hosting’s affiliate program offers:
1st Tier Commission2nd Tier Commission$55-$125 depending on the plan & tier$5
The remarkable thing about the affiliate program is that you can get started right now. You don’t need to have a huge audience, and all you need is just apply for the program. And start making money on two-tier commissions.
ClickFunnels – Funnels Marketing Software
ClickFunnels is the most popular funnel building and marketing software in the world. Do you want to sell a physical or digital product? Do you want to create an awesomely converting landing page for your business? ClickFunnels has got you covered.
📷📷
And as an affiliate, you get

ClickFunnels is more than just a funnel-building software. You can learn a lot more things about funnel building, marketing, and selling products and services. Lots of people have made tons of profits using the platform.
If you have not chosen your sub-affiliate program yet, why not look at some of the top affiliate networks.

These are affiliate networks with a lot of sub-affiliate programs available on them.
ClickBank
📷📷
Clickbank is the world’s largest digital marketplace. Tons of affiliate programs enlisted there pay up to 50% in recurring commissions and second-tier commissions. The best thing about Clickbank is that it doesn’t care whether you are a beginner.
CJ Affiliate (formerly Commission Junction)
CJ is also one of the largest affiliate networks in the world, and it has thousands of advertisers on its platform. Its affiliate programs also pay up to 50% for direct sale/lead generation offers and up to 10% for affiliate referral/recruitment.
📷📷
It has a massive 50-million strong list of publisher affiliates all over the world. Besides, it offers a dedicated account rep and 30-day cookie tracking. Have a look at the CJ affiliate marketing case study to help you get started.
ShareASale
ShareASale is a big player in the affiliate marketing world, with over 16550 advertisers and over 225,000 affiliates using its platform.
📷📷
There are tons of programs listed on the platform that offer two-tier commissions. And it gives you the flexibility to promote any digital product or service.
FlexOffers
FlexOffers has over 12000 advertisers on its platform and pays publishers up to 50% recurring commission. It helps you monetize your website by offering pay-per-click ads from premium advertisers.
📷📷
FlexOffers has a dedicated team that works tirelessly to serve the best offers to its network of affiliates. And that’s why you also get to enjoy the two-tier affiliate programs.
Choose Two-Tier Affiliate Program That Suits Your Audience
What is the niche of your website or social media profile? What kind of audience have you got? These questions will help to determine the type of two-tier affiliate program that suits you best. I have enlisted the best two-tier affiliate programs for digital marketers above.
📷📷
If it’s overwhelming for you to start with all these affiliate programs, begin with Systeme.io’s sub-affiliate program. Why? It’s one of the best marketing automation software that offers 40% commission on your sales along with the second tier 5% commission. I wish you good luck!

Facebook Ads Retargeting Strategy: Target Your Followers
Is there a plan to run an ultimate successful marketing ads campaign? Of course not. But how about running an ad campaign where you can target people who already know and trust you? Well, in this article, we are going to show you how to use a Facebook ads retargeting strategy to target the people who already follow you on Youtube. How? Read along!
What is Facebook Ads Retargeting?
Let’s suppose you are trying to sell something, any product. Who is more likely to buy you product: People who already know your brand or people who haven’t heard anything about you?
I will give you some time to answer. 3, 2, 1..
Of course, it is the people who already know your brand since they already know what you provide.
This is the same concept in running Facebook ads.
Facebook retargeting ads are one of the best features advertising provided by the platform. It allows you to reach people who are already familiar with what you offer and provide. This strategy gives your ad a great push.
But how to achieve this and what Facebook ads retargeting strategy should you use? We will come to this in a second.
But first, let us explain a small concept that we will need. A pixel.
Facebook Pixel
No, it is not the pixel you find in an image. Obviously.
A Facebook pixel is simply a piece of code you add to your website.
What does it do?
Well, it monitors people who are entering your website and saves their Facebook pages. You are now getting the point.
Anyone enters a website you have a Facebook pixel added to it, Facebook will know the profile of this user and will target him/her if you choose to run this in your ad campaign.
How to do this? Facebook provides you will a simple base code to install to your website header. You can get it when you go to your Facebook events data manager, and select the connect data sources option. Choose web, then Facebook provides you with something similar to the below. That’s it.
Ad in Action
Let’s open Facebook business site to create an ad. Let’s consider we want traffic.
After this, one of the most important things you need to consider is your audience. of course, you can choose a default audience by picking the country, the demographics, the age group, behavior, etc…
But in this case, we do not want this.
Instead, we want to create our customer audience, which is why we create a new audience.
Let’s see the options we have when creating a custom audience.
As you can see, there are multiple options you can use. But since we are talking about pixels, we pick a website.
One important notice: You should already have a website with a pixel implemented to be able to target the people who visit your website.
Let me show you our blog for example. Once we acquire the pixel from Facebook, we paste the pixel in our website as below.
Now anyone who enters our blog, even if they didn’t subscribe or do anything inside the website, we already know that they entered and we can target them in our next ads campaign. This is nice ha?
Now that I have explained the concept of Facebook Ads retargeting, let me show you a new strategy we use to retarget the people who watched our YouTube videos.
Facebook Ads Retargeting Strategy Using YouTube
Let’s take a look at our pixels.
You can see, one of our pixels is called YouTube visitors.
We surely cannot put a pixel in YouTube webpage, so how can we retarget those people?
This is very important to your ad. Those who watch your YouTube videos are very likely to purchase or click on any ad you publish. They already know you and trust your products.
Let me dive into this topic now and show you the trick.
The thing you need to use here, is a shortening URL service with a Facebook tracking option, like l-ink.me. Now I can hear the little voice in your head that is saying, look he is just writing this to market his SAAS app. Well, we are marketing it since it is a great tool, but you can create your own tool as we already show you how in the below video. We are here to help you succeed.

Digital Marketing for Beginners: The Ultimate Guide
What is digital marketing? Why is it necessary, anyway? And how can you really succeed in it? In this guide to digital marketing for beginners, I'll break it down into pieces so that you may understand the subject better.
Digital marketing can be a trending buzzword, but it's not new at all. In 1896, the first public transmission of wireless signals occurred with radio. And that's what digital marketing is all about. It is different from traditional marketing because of the usage of wireless signals.
There are a lot of misconceptions about digital marketing. For example, some people think that online and digital marketing are the same, which isn't correct. Online marketing only involves internet connectivity, while digital marketing also involves transferring digital signals.
It means billboards, radio, and televisions are also media of digital marketing. Didn't know it already? Well, you aren't alone. Let's break a few more myths. Sounds fair? Let's get going!
What is Digital Marketing?
Digital marketing is as old as radio. It's a form of marketing in which you use digital signals to communicate with your customers, visitors, or readers. With time, digital marketing has evolved a lot, especially in recent years.
Digital marketing is a type of marketing delivered through digital channels or electronic devices such as television, radio, search engines, websites, social media, and more. “
As you can see, modern-day digital marketing has a large number of channels. Now you see tons of apps, sites, and digital solutions rolling out every day. As per Think with Google, 48% of customers start their queries on search engines.
And this is just one channel of digital marketing. From email to social media and from PPC to radio, you've tons of options available to market your brand or website digitally. Let's get to know why you or your business should invest in digital marketing.

Google and social media platforms like Facebook or Instagram generate more revenue than any traditional media agency. Why? It's because they get more eyeballs. And that is the reason why digital marketing is essential without a doubt. You need to understand a few things more.
Your Customers or Readers Are Online

Digital marketing is more of online marketing now. And the cost of running an ad online is way more affordable than broadcasting a television commercial. For example, a national TV channel may cost you $120,000 to run a 30-second commercial.
