SOOO i got the chance to attend the Wicked premiere in Singapore yesterday (eternally grateful for it)!!! my friend and i were chosen for best dressed & were invited to take photos with other gorgeous glindas 🩷🫧 we also got a pic with this stunning elphaba 😭🧹

now about the movie (NO SPOILERS)…

i’ve never seen a movie so passionately and lovingly made. it shined through the sets, the costumes, the artistic choices and the details. but none of these could come alive if it wasn’t for the brilliant cast who channeled EVERYTHING in them. cynthia made me feel like i was right there with her, her emotions felt so incredibly REAL it was hard not to be pulled in and share them with her. she was so gentle with her character yet so grounded in it. i was also speechless throughout her musical numbers and now im impatiently waiting for the soundtrack

ariana made me laugh, then cry, and as someone who’s been an ariana stan since 2010 let me tell you… she’s never showed more soul & passion in a project. i could see how she’s been waiting and preparing for this role her whole life because she embodied it completely and you could tell how much the role meant to her. it’s a real testament to her growth & we’re seeing a side of her we’ve never truly seen before. she also dances her ass off
