Thinking about Kiryu today and how he’s affectionate without being overbearing.

Constantly touching you—holding your hand, arm around your shoulders, thigh brushing yours underneath the table, etc.

It’s just gentle, steady reassurance. (Also, persnaps, yet another way to defy his family. Showing emotions like tenderness and warmth for a person he chose to love, not marry out of duty)

All that subtly flies out the window when he’s sleepy. Kiryu clings to you like a barnacle; whines and pouts when you get up. His favorite way to cuddle is with his head resting on your tummy, your fingers carding gently through his hair

So I have this “friend” that I’ve known for a number of years now, and he’s one of those people who, if I mention I like something, it becomes his ENTIRE personality

I’ve finally reached the point— in my journey of no longer being a people pleaser—where I’ve stopped telling him about the things I’m currently into and! Wouldn’t ya know it! He’s no longer reading or watching any shows or listening to new music. Funny how that works!
