Definition
A foodie is a person who, not only enjoys food but also has an unshakable interest in food. A foodie is someone who likes to experience different kinds of food, from different places, with different tastes. They know all sorts of things about food, like food pairings, food origins, and what food is the best in a time and place. Being a foodie can sometimes be a hobby because foodies eat food to experience it and for pleasure.
To put it in simple terms, a stan is a super fan. Sometimes described as “die-hard fans” or an overly enthusiastic or devoted fan. Someone who greatly idolizes a celebrity or an influencer.

Comparison and Contrast
Both my cats, Steve and Poopies, are loved but Steve is more spoiled. Steve is a sweet cat. He loves kisses. Sometimes, when you tell him that you want a kiss, he bumps his head on your face, and he loves being cuddled. He is also spoiled. All he does is sleep, go out, and eat. The moment he comes back home, he demands food immediately; when he eats, he doesn’t like to be disturbed. He doesn't want to jump through the gate so he waits outside until we open it. Poopies is shy and introverted. Unlike Steve, he doesn’t like socializing. Sometimes, when we have visitors, he will not come home until the visitors are gone. And unlike Steve, Poopies is noisy. He always meows very loudly to announce his presence. He meows loudly when he wants food, water, or other things. He is also always hyper. He always runs around the house. Like Steve, he doesn’t like to be disturbed when eating. Although both cats are different and unique in their own ways, they are both loved very much.

Reflection
As a student, writing academic essays is accustomed. Therefore, I find it generally facile. I speak and understand English. These are essential skills because being capable of doing so is crucial in writing. If you don't fully understand what you're writing, you won't be capable of appropriately expressing what you want to say. Putting your thoughts into words can sometimes be challenging if unfamiliar with the language. Because of the songs, movies, and tv-series that I've been watching and listening to since I was a child, I have grown familiar with certain words that you don't come across every day. It also helped me understand how grammar works. An extensive vocabulary often comes in handy. Not only does it make your essay sound more professional, but it gives you more opportunities to convey your perception more clearly. Understanding how grammar works is also a fundamental skill. It makes you seem more credible, and it would help people understand you better. By having the principal skills mentioned above, writing essays that I am well-pleased with has often been uncomplicated.
Although writing is generally easy, it can sometimes be a bumpy ride. Sometimes, I experience writer's block. I would spend minutes just staring at my screen because of it. It is disappointing because it would make you feel like you can't understand anything. Sometimes I get frustrated when I can't find words that appropriately translate my thoughts. I forget the terms I want to use but, it feels as if it's on the tip of my tongue, and it is infuriating. However, when I start writing after writer's block, or when I finally remember the word plaguing my mind for the last minutes, It would make me laugh. It would make me feel as if I scratched the itchiest part of my back. Yes, encountering challenges may be disheartening, but overcoming them will give you the satisfaction that you so need.

Essay
Time is what I value the most; time to relax, to sleep peacefully, time to play, and, as a student, time to finish my tasks. "Time is running," apparently very fast. It's almost like days go by every second. I still can't believe that 2022 is just around the corner. Now, we are closer to the year 2040 than the year 2000, and I am not ready to accept that fact. It seems like yesterday it was only 2019, and I was attending the prom. I want time to grasp that reality but, as I sit here, the very thing I'm trying to capture just gets farther away from me. Time runs me over and I barely have time to get up. I am always busy doing schoolwork, house chores, and sleeping till noon, that I don't have enough time to be a teen. I barely have time to talk with my friends, bond with my family, and even go to church. But whenever I do, I don't feel rushed, just grateful. Time goes by fast, and we have to be thankful for the moments when it slows down for us. And I always try to be.
